Early game is fun but late game needs some serious rebalancing. The game has plenty of glitches and issues that don't matter much early game but late game it becomes a frustrating waste of time when you lose to movement or animation glitches. Or just not being able to reinforce/respawn at all. Not to mention the terrible balancing, difficulties 1-5 are fine and fun but once you go 6 and beyond it just becomes frustrating. Not to mention the matchmaking is rough, SOS beacons rarely pull in players and this isn't really a game you can solo unless you have a stealth loadout.

Maybe worth it if you just want to do low level missions with friends but the game cant be taken seriously as is. I'd rather suffer in GTFO or a souls-like since they at least have some balance and less glitches while taking themselves seriously.

Gameplay loop isn't very fun. Only real controls are WASD, no control over weapons/aim.

Game has potential for the price but if you plan to play multiplayer it's unplayable as is. The lag is very noticeable even with a locally hosted server. The game is very single process CPU bound, even with the multicore flags enabled only 1/4 threads does all the work. Also all of the player files are generated per-machine so you can't easily move your data between people/hosts.

If you just plan to play it in single player then you might enjoy it. It does have plenty of early-access bugs though.

Fun rogue-lite well worth the 25. Tight controls, well balanced, great ost and cute artstyle.

Great game, new content still being made yearly.

Premise of the game seems fun but the execution is terrible. Combat is a drag and building a base will have you running back and forth with rocks/logs for literal hours. Inventory management is the worst I've ever seen in a video game.

Bandwagoning

Multiplayer play is all segregated. You can only play with people on the same operating systems as you and even where you purchased it from. Those who purchased from the App Store can't play with those that purchased through Steam. Those on Linux, can't play with those on Windows or OSX....

The Developers have been working hard on this game from the start. A year later and now we have Linux support, Full Controller support, and a large amount of free updates for anyone that already owns the base game.

The game itself is fun, especially with friends.

Amazing piece of hardware. It has a very high learning curve to adapt to considering everyone is so used to the standard dual analog controllers. But this is without a doubt the most customizable controller to ever exist and if you aren't afraid to tinker around and learn how to setup this bad boy; I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

If you are looking for a controller that just works or you just want to get this because its new and cool without looking into what it actually is; then this isn't for you.
