Very boring and repetitive. And the story is lazy. Nothing like the first game.

The dialogue would be cringe in any other game yet in this game everything sounds so cool.

It offers nothing special compared to other games in the same genre. I've found it quite boring as someone who has (re)played the original doom for hundreds of hours. I've also found the gore (which is the main selling point of the game) mediocre, because enemies just explode to pieces and there is no variety. Brutal doom mod does a better job with gore.

A worthy successor to DS1 that improves it in every way. (Except for the overly linear design but I can let that slide)

You will be fighting many iconic bosses. Expect to die a lot. Dying is not "losing" the game, it's part of the game.

Absolutely don't even go near this game. Skip it. I've heard the non-sotfs + dlc version is good but this is just hot garbage.
