Review Showcase
The beginning of the end. This entry into the series marks the start of Halo's burning, agonizing decent into becoming yet another Call of Duty clone brand. Visuals, and story-wise, this game feels just as empty and vapid as any other standard dumb 'run-and-gun' shooter that plauged the market through the early 2010s.

Though 343-era entries have their fans, I cant stress enough the drastic change in gameplay, storytelling, visual design, and characters. Which I all think personally have taken a turn for the worst. If you want CoD with some shiny over-detailed models and textures, plenty lensflare, a story that artificially extends a finished plot-line, and is everything BUT Halo except in name, this one is perfect for you.

I am by no means objective with this review. I am speaking as a long-time fan since the Bungie days, so make of my words as you will. I just hate these series of train-wreaks known as the 343-era entries. This one, 5, and the soon-to-be disappointment that will be Infinite.

Do not buy if you were here from the beginning, this is all that is coming now.
