So my experience with this game is complicated. I do recommend playing the game, however I have some major complaints.

How I play specifically is on the hardest difficulty and minimal HUD. I have quite a few hours in multiple shooters so this suits me best. I understand how I play is not how everyone or even most people will play. However, it is important to understand this will only highlight the issues further the game has. So if I have issues with these things at the high end, they will be even more annoying for you at the low end.

PROS
- Decent Gun Play
- Extra hard difficulties
- Lets you play literally however you like
- The game feel grounded MOSTLY in realism.
- Teammates are useful for AI.
- Stealth play is decent, not perfect but decent.
- Vehicles are both OP and not OP. Depends on the situation
- Skill Progression is pretty good and feels ok. Even if the skills say one thing and feel like they do another.

CONS
- Night vision is useful sometimes, but the visual quality is terrible, it makes spotting people horribly difficult. For the most advanced combat unit on the planet they have dollar store night vision. I had better night vision as a non-combat unit in the Army.

- Thermal vision is absolutely useless. Electric cars with dead batteries appear bright as the sun. People are super faint blue on an already very blue background. Because the game is 3rd person you can see your own head is bright as the sun as well. This is all during the night even, so it isn't like the surface heats are blown out.

- Damage system is good, but half the Biovac points are up hills. Which in this game is rough terrain. If you are injured and need to get to a biovac, you better hope the one you are near isn't up a hill. While you are heavily injured you can't go up a hill basically at all.

- AI is all knowing. One shot and you mine as well send up a flare. I can understand search mode, but they just know where you are all the time.

- Factions you are helping and bad guys are near identical in what they look like. Super difficult to tell because some bad guys wear just a plate carrier, and the good guys wear the same thing. It is like they took the same models and put different hats on them. They even have the same shirts. Worst part is, if you kill a good guy, the other team members with you will say "good kill" or "good shot". Like how am I supposed to know who is who?

- Drones are annoying. Enemy drones appear randomly it seems and for whatever reason they all know I am a bad guy. Completely automated drones. They also can appear from ANY enemy. So suddenly you have 2 little drones homing right in on you and they have a gun on them. But you drones don't, oh wait that is only for an expendable item you have to go find in the world.

- Vehicle damage is horrid. You can shoot a car with a minigun and it will do nothing. But the AI can shoot right in and actually hurt your player. With normal guns or mini guns. At least be consistent here.

- Half the bad guys are bullet sponges. Sure you can put them down in 5-10 rounds with most any gun. But a headshot with a sniper should kill pretty much any badguy. Only heavys with super good headgear should survive a single headshot. Sure this would mean people use snipers more, but due to only having a primary and a pistol, this means they have to pick what they want to bring. They game even knows this is a problem because they give you an ability that lets sniper rounds ignore armor.

- Bullet drop is great! Except you can't at all measure it, it is inconsistent and you can't sight a scope to a distance to make solid shots. The drop is SIGNIFICANT! less than 300 meters and a sniper shot is already 5-10 feet down. But because your round was near the enemy now they know you are there and look DIRECTLY AT YOU. If the game had no drop, or if it had a range finder and let you adjust it would be fine. I am SUPER down with the idea of having to use one piece of gear to range find, and then pulling the rifle out and shooting. This could even make multiplayer super enjoyable with a spotter and a sniper. I am perfectly down with this being sniper exclusive too.

- Medical supplies are a bit stupid. You can only take 5 bandages with you. Bandages are used to recover health bars, while injectors heal inside a bar. You get 3 bars. So if you are hit you are down to 1/3 bars. You now can't use your primary weapon. This is fine, realistic-ish and adds some skill to the game. However, you can't find or replenish them while moving around. You have to goto a Biovac (camp) spot to make them. So this artificially forces you to goto these camps from time to time to make supplies. Bit of a pain.If you had at least two types of bandages one you can make/find out in the wild that isn't as good and one that you make while at camp that is great I could understand. You also have to find flowers to make bandages...these flowers are not super common and they are mostly found outside in random fields. Effectively forcing you to explore certain areas that are boring.

- All of the menus are trash. It is not at all apparent that the skills menu allows you to drag it around and get to the different skills the game has. The M key opens the map...but if you press the M key again it opens the "change mode" screen. Menus have sub-menus and those have sub-menus. It feels like everything has another sub-menu. Whoever did UI/UX for this game needs their kneecaps realigned.
