This game is honestly awesome. Very familiar being a Legend of Zelda type game while also being very innovative and unique. The exploration and world building are extremely satisfying and refreshing for a game in this genre. I especially love how the "tutorial" works in this game, where finding and unlocking parts of the game manual and then deciphering what you've found is an entire puzzle in itself. Very satisfying and I'm going to be watching this developer very closely for any future projects.

If you like Legend of Zelda style games and you're looking for something new, you can't go wrong with this. I'd say this game is well worth the $30 they're asking for it.

Game's good. You probably already own it. If you don't, you should buy it.

Nothing quite like it if you want a competitive sports game that is purely based on skill.

One of the best survival horror games of all time. This game never lets you feel comfortable. From the claustrophobic inventory to the severe lack of supplies throughout the game, it's really something I haven't experienced since playing RE2 the first time around. Graphics are great, pacing is great, balance is great. Play it on Hardcore in the dark with headphones so you get everything the game has to offer. ZERO COMPLAINTS.

I still think that there are many things that Civ V does better, but I would still recommend Civ VI to anyone who's already played Civ V and wants to change it up. Unit management is better in VI, and I like the districts. I do not like that there is no Diplomatic victory. I also liked the City-States better in V. Unit movement in V was different, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

Overall, similar but not the same as V. Civ V is probably still my favorite out of the two, but VI is a very good game in itself.

Not that realistic. I shower with my dad and it's nothing like this.

This game isn't really that scary, it's more atmospheric and creepy. I can't imagine why you wouldn't like it. Perfect length and very conceptual. Will definitely be playing again.

This is one of the greatest games I've ever played. When I first heard about it, I read some reviews and watched some gameplay videos. I'm not a big magic fan, and the videos showing Geralt casting Igni was pushing me toward the "no" column. But then it went on sale for $30 during the winter last year, and I decided to pick it up. I can honestly say that I'm disappointed I didn't spend full price on this game. I wish I had given more money to support the people who created this experience.

It's fantastic. Everything about it is extremely high-quality. I can't think of another game where I felt so immersed in a world that felt so alive. Everywhere you go, there's something going on or something to do.

The combat is fantastic. I wish it felt a little heavier, as Geralt feels very light on his feet for someone who's so big, but I guess that's one of the perks of being a Witcher. It has a Dark Souls feel to it, where there's a lot of blocking and dodging, but the parry and block abilities feel much more familiar than they do in Dark Souls. Both swordplay and the different casting signs are both extremely well-done and upgradeable through the points system.

Speaking of the points system, the RPG elements of the game are fantastic as well. You can add points to gain different skills, and many of the skills have multiple tiers that allow you to further enhance your abilities. This, coupled with the fact that you can only have a certain number of abilities active at any time, forces you to focus your upgrading in certain categories. If you want to be a deadly combat expert, a powerful sign-casting mage, or a potion-heavy alchemist, you're going to have to put your levels and points into these categories. As for armor and weapons, there are many with multiple upgrades available. I stick with Witcher gear, but there are plenty of other options.

NPC characters and voice acting are top-notch, and the character models are extremely good. In fact, the monsters in the game are probably the best monsters in any game ever made. Each monster is extremely varied and there are a ton of different ones. The scaling of them is great as well, and the game gives you a fair amount of time to hone your skills and strategies before throwing you into your first monster battle. But in order to perfect your tactics, you're going to need to level up.

It's an open world game, so there are obviously glitches. I would venture to say, however, that the glitches are nothing compared to other open-world games. Sometimes monsters are unable to come out of the forests because they get stuck running into trees. Sometimes your horse winds up standing somewhere funny. I've seen pop-ins and pop-outs while playing occasionally. But I've personally never encountered a game-breaking bug while playing.

Bottom line: buy this game. If you like combat, you'll love this game. If you like adventure, you'll love this game. If you like really good graphics and an engaging story, you'll really love this game.

Oh, and there are just so many topless women in this game. So there's that.

I got the expansions with Civ V through a Steam sale, so I can't comment on the core game. But the game with expansions is incredibly fun and addictive. It requires a lot of strategy, but there are enough difficulty settings for anyone to have fun, regardless of experience. The tutorial pop-ups help a lot, especially if you don't know what you're doing, and they'll guide you through enough of the game where you won't feel lost after playing one or two games.

This is the first Civilization game I've played, and I have to say I'm blown away. If I can get past the early game, I'm usually doing pretty well. I still haven't gotten the best build order for my first 20 turns or so, but sometimes I get lucky and I can really take off from there. I've probably put almost 60 hours into it at this point, much of that either starting a new Civ and quitting after 50 turns when my civ is obviously awful or going a full 400 turn game, which takes a very long time.

I love that it feels kind of like a tabletop game, but it's very immersive and incredibly intricate. This is easily one of my favorite games and it's an easy go-to for when I'm not sure what I want to play. I routinely recommend this game to friends who want something different to play, and I'll do the same for you.
