Due to his years of doctoral practice, he would easily be able to deduce the fate of said child monkey, which would be that the monkey should cease to continue jumping on the sleeping apparatus. This will leave only 5 monkeys, bouncing upon this theoretical sleeping apparatus, as the eldest member of the family would be in a medically-induced coma as a result of the fall.

However, if the child monkeys were to, hypothetically, FURTHER continue jumping on the sleeping apparatus, of course another young member of the Cercopithecoidea species would be in need of urgent medical surgery. This would come about as a follow-up to the alleged fall of the second monkey off the sleeping apparatus. And so on, and so forth.
