Have not completed it but I already love the concept of it. Although I definitely think there should be a larger variety in weapons for more fun times.

Production quality is almost triple A for a smaller non-recognized developer but most of the visuals and sound design is definitely already there. It really reminds me of classics like Deus Ex and Vampire the masquerade with its handling of side stories/missions; with a couple of comedic moments added in to give some pizazz to an otherwise dull personality that robocop himself may portray. The way the story is presented or starts off is definitely less "explosive" or engaging and the music doesn't kick in everytime which loses out to more cinematic pieces/games in terms of transition but definitely feels like older classic shooter/action RPG games with emphasis on world building.

Robocop: Rogue CIties works in a semi-open world hub fashion similar to the previously mentioned classics instead of pure open world like GTA/Cyberpunk. It is also surprisingly a shooter RPG, with perk elements akin to the one found in Mass Effect 1, where players would level up specific skill LINE perks until they reach an actionable perk. These stats play into certain actions you can perform throughout your exploration as well.

MIssions do allow slight deviation in route taken in the form of conversation options and a "side opening" to flank enemies however these are not as deep as one would think although there is potential. Shooting missions are still quite linear and sometimes I wished the conversations had more variety and more chances to fail a mission and produce a different result. Most of the side missions aren't just fetch quests either, as the game plays into the theme of robocop and has a scanning element to look around for evidences and it would be funnier if you could present wrong evidence to "fail" missions".

Gunplay is pretty solid but not as inspiring mainly because of Robo's stiff movement patterns. However the game is definitely playing into the fanfic as the visuals and sound design carries the feeling of being a Robocop is really strong. Guns have oomph, the particle effects are flashy and the entire package carries the solid but overly-used shooter gameplay loop and it all comes together. They do try to include variety with throwables but I've yet to see things do anything other than go boom; grabbing gangsters by the neck and letting their friends shoot them like a meat shield is always fun though.

Reviewing as a semi-casual player who now just wants fun more than crazy difficulty/challenges.

Sifu may seem short but its gameplay mechanics is what stretches the gameplay out longer, other than the story mode, the challenges arenas are what really prolongs this game and its intricate and fun gameplay. New game+ exists via the previously mentioned arena/challenges as well as changing or modifying your martial arts moveset as well.

Combat or gameplay itself is simple yet complex at the same time. You get a few set moves that can trigger different things like knocking down an opponent, pushing them further or just generally doing a half dodge and immediate strike.
- Learning enemy move set matters
- Parry timing matters
- Positioning around mulitple enemies matters
All of these merges into a blend of multiple variance whch makes every fight different

Environments are also really well done and differentiates themselves apart, Soundtracks honestly in my opinion could be more hyped but mostly takes a sombre slow tone to follow its story mode I guess, although the club portions start to ramp up.

Overall, worth the cash even at full price now taking into account how most triple A games have inflated to a average $79-$99. Especially if you are looking for a challenging skill based martial arts game which honestly there aren't many martial arts games out there at all.
