If you want to buy this game, get it when it goes on sale. It is NOT worth the 60 dollar price tag,

Outside of that, I think Cal's story is one of the most interesting stories to follow in recent Disney Star Wars. The environments are gorgeous, the character acting is extraordinary, and I can feel the love poured into this game.

Its unfortunate that I can't confidently recc this game. The performance issues are too bad to be ignored. It's been genuine YEARS since this game's released and it is STILL a buggy, broken mess. The love is there, as I said, but love cannot make up for polishing. This game needed another year in development to smooth out some of the final kinks.

Cal Kestis is one of my favorite characters ever written. It's unfortunate that I can't in good faith leave a positive review on JEDI: Survivor. Hopefully the third game cleans up some of the more glaring issues. I'm excited for it!

Constant crashing, but the game is fun, when it actually works that is.

BEWARE ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PERFORMANCE!
To this date (Apr. 23, 2026), this game has been abandoned by Respawn with no real fix for stuttering; only thing that helped considerably was a setting on NVIDIA's app called "smooth motion" (only available for RTX 40 and 50 series GPU), which generates additional frames to smooth out your experience. Not ideal if you're expecting full native experience, but you'll face horrible performance otherwise.

Besides this issue, this game is a step up from Fallen Order in my opinion. Gameplay mechanics have been improved in general, perfecting those already present in the last game plus new additions to make it feel like a fresh game instead of a copy-paste sequel. I'm liking Cal's development so far, you can tell how much the weight of time and events between last game and this one have affected him and Mantis crew.

If you liked the first one, have a decent PC to use NVIDIA's app fix plus some tinkering and STILL don't mind stuttering now and then, you'll like this game. If it's a no for conditions 2 or 3...there's not much else you can do as console versions are crap (performance wise) too, I think. You'll have to tough it out.

Still, even if it's a good game behind it all, I can not recommend it due to it's current technical conditions.
Games should be taken care of to perform with no issues, especially when they come from billionaire AAA companies.
