This is one of my favorite games ever. It's a masterpiece, especially in the storytelling department. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they cooked.

This is the worst performing game I have ever played. It's a technical mess and it's shameful it was released in such a state.

It might be better than SWAT 4.

Second best Co-op experience ever. If you can't get together to play tabletop D&D, this is the best substitute out there.

I spent 24 years and assassinated 4 of my brother's children during infancy as well as his wife, worshipped Satan, and cucked him with his second wife (who was ugly as ♥♥♥♥ btw), all so I could unify his independent empire of Eastern Francia with my empire of Western Francia. It was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glorius.

Crusader Kings 2 is what you get when you combine roleplaying elements with Grand Strategy. Unlike most strategy games, CK2 distinguishes itself from others by focusing on characters and their relationships over nations and their borders. The sky is the limit on the possibilities in CK2 thanks to it's complex systems driven gameplay and I cannot recommend it enough.

People tend to blow out of proportion how hard the game's UI is to learn, but it's not. The in-game tutorial just sucks at doing so, but with the power of the internet you can find out what everything does easily and be playing in 30 to 40 minutes. The game is complex, but rewarding to learn, but nevertheless people still blow the initial learning curve out of proportion.

Also, people like to ♥♥♥♥♥ about the amount of DLC in this game, but if you're just starting out, it's totally not needed and I would advise against it. The DLC is to keep the hardcore playerbase playing. When you get bored of what the game has to offer (after hundreds of hours) that's when you should buy the DLC that interests you because all of them add very specific features. CK2 is more than a complete game out of the box and the DLC is very much extra content.

I've played through it at least seven times, so I think I enjoyed this game quite a bit.

Early Access Review
The most hilarious, inebriated, fun I have had in a long time. Grab some friends, fire up teamspeak (or sit next to them), drink alcohol and have an amazing time.

No doubt a good game, however, the overall lack of innovation on the Bethesda RPG formula is making their games tiring. The shooting and combat has improved from Fallout 3 (I didn't like NV that much), but the world seems shallower, like I was actually having trouble finding side quests to do and there aren't as many settlements (probably do to the build system which I'm not a big fan of). At the same time, there are a lot more dynamic events happening in the world which makes it a ton of fun to explore and there is still an immense amount of detail in the world. The main questline is actually pretty long, making up maybe half of my overall playtime, but has a lackluster ending. ALSO, WHY DO THEY KEEP DUMBING DOWN THEIR RPG SYSTEMS? BETHESDA, I MISS CHARACTER CREATION INVOLVING SKILL POINTS, PLEASE BRING THIS BACK AS IT MAKES THE CHARACTER A WHOLE LOT MORE PERSONALIZED BEYOND COSMETIC. Overall, pretty good game, I enjoyed it, and I will probably play the DLC at some point.

Story. Meh.
Characters. Bad.
Setting. Meh.
Graphics. Early Source Engine quality.
Combat. The best first person melee combat system ever created.

Verdict: It has a lot of short comings and the game is flawed and frustrating at times, but the combat is so good and the price is so low ($3 and change on sale) that it would be a crime not to give this game a shot.

7/10 -- Great
