I don't really like horror games where you have power over nothing and you have to keep running and hiding from everything you see. This is one of the reasons why I loved Dead Space. You don't need to run or hide in this game since you can kill almost everything. That doesn't mean you won't feel the tension though.

The Game is really player friendly but not hand-holding in most ways. Storyline is pretty good and easy to follow. There are some collectible lore in game but they are easy to come by and you don't even have to go out of your way to find them. Shopping system is also very basic and resource rarity is not over-exaggerated like you're playing a survival game. Weapon variety is not much but more than enough. Shooting necromorphs is satisfying.

With the remake, Dead Space is better than most 2021 games.

This game is simply not made to be played, you will get all sorts of errors and crashes (if you're lucky, if not then it won't even launch) and if you manage to solve all the problems then some tards at bethesda will realise this and update the game to make it unplayable again. Just buy New Vegas, it's a lot more fun, this game is not worth the trouble
