Really lacking in the amount of cars there are, but the map is alright, the races are fun and the gameplay is pretty decent. Paid £5 for the full version. Was definitely worth getting it for that price, probably more.

This game is just as great as it was when it first released! Biggest difference, I'm not stuck at the beginning of the game lol. Story is great. Gameplay is great. Graphics are nostalgic. This game is definitely worth purchasing!

I get that the game has nostalgia for players of the originals and would absolutely be up some peoples' roads, but it's not my cup of tea. The graphics are good, the game is well optimised, but the gameplay is mostly repetitive and the story is rather boring.

Ehh, definitely a niche game. Doesn't entice me to play anymore so if you're not in MX, really don't bother. I kind of am and I couldn't deal with it.

Controls are just way too clunky for the game to be fun.

This game kinda sucks...

The story is boring, the characters are boring, and the game is overall somewhat repetitive. A large part of the game is destroying stuff, but if you go about doing that, you're going to be experiencing the most annoying wanted level system in the universe. The AI constantly calls for backup, so every few seconds, you hear some dispatcher saying "AiR uNiTs To YoUr LoCaTiOn" or "nAvY uNiTs To YoUr LocAItOIN" it gets annoying incredibly fast. Of course, when it comes to other sounds, your limited to a boring score. There are no radio stations for when you're driving or flying about which is incredibly boring and the DLC was half-arsed.
The game takes ridiculously long to load because of the need to always be online and the servers are terrible. If you drop connection with the server, you then get paused and have the option to either try to reconnect (and experience the same fate), or go into offline mode. Once you're in offline mode however, you can't pause the game because the game will attempt to reconnect you.

This is the type of game that just proves that a large map isn't everything. While there is diversity of the environments, there's really nothing that makes you want to explore it.

There's no desire to drive around to places as almost everything is just so damn far, but nothing else keeps you entertained, there's no music on the radio, despite the DJ talking about putting music on.

Game crashes a lot.

Story is bland.

Can't say I like it, but when it's cheap or free, it could be something to try out I suppose, just don't expect much.

Lots have changed with this game, some things were good, some were bad.

This game does have the best gameplay out of all the Dead Rising games. The movement, shooting mechanics, driving mechanics. All that is great! This game is fun! It's taken each game to further refine what was already amazing and they've done a brilliant job.

Frank West is different; he's more of a sociopath this time around, maybe similar to the Frank West from Watch Tower. He's definitely not a likeable character which plays in a little to the survivor missions. I never felt all that compelled to save any survivors in this game. I did do it, but it wasn't as fun as the other games. There was a reward for saving survivors before, but not in this game. Earning PP was too easy.

On the note of PP, there are more than 50 levels this time round. But do you remember when it was extremely hard to play through a DR game without spending some time leveling up first? Well, in this game, you can play through the whole story without really having to plan your upgrades, find the right weapons or even really care. I spent much of the game heading to one place to another for the story leveling up on the way. The game never got challenging. In previous games, despite leveling up, there would still always be some level of challenge.

The list is slightly out of order, I suppose but one great thing about Dead Rising games is the psycho missions. They've completely gone. The only thing that remains is that there are crazy survivors who you have to kill. They have no character development at all. We don't know why they're this way. They're all effectively the convicts from the first game with even less story.

Capcom Heroes mode seems fun. I only played a small part of the campaign (it's exactly the same as story mode as far as I can tell) and based on what I saw, you play as various capcom heroes using their weapons and wearing their outfits. I thought this was a nice touch to the game. I'm sure it'll be fun playing through this mode.

My biggest issue, the Willamette mall is not the same as in the first game and very little time is actually spent there... Mehhh :/

What's with the suicidal pedestrians??

This game is what Saints Row 3 was except it's kinda boring. The structure is pretty much a matter of killing underbosses and taking their land, except to get to each underboss, you have to do lots of what seem like side missions like stealing money, killing drug dealers, arms trafficers etc. The actual story is pretty good, but it takes about an hour of grinding for each underboss to get to anywhere remotely fun. I've heard there are mods to fix this, but I don't believe this should at all be the case. Despite saying the story is good, the amount of time playing the story is mostly filler.

The game is sadly riddled with glitches where actions become unresponsive meaning reloading the checkpoint (minor issue, but one regardless) and my favourite one, constant freezing.

It truly is sad because this game really did have a lot of potential. The story could have really been done to create more emotion to Lincoln and the other characters in a way more similar to Mafia 2 instead of simply repeating itself. The best characters in the game are the ones you're fighting, especially the leader of the mafia. The gameplay mechanics are actually great! I love driving because the cars feel so smooth and easy to drive (using simulated driving, though I didn't feel a difference between the two modes) and the weapons used were great. Slowing down time was done well too, but everything else in the game just seemed more like it was there because it had to be.

But why do the pedestrians keep trying to kill themselves? They appear to see a fast car coming down the road so jump in front rather than either walking normally or jumping to actual safety away from the road...
