Yeah it's really good.

Note: some stuff is fps depend like in doom 2016. Mostly being bfg tendril damage (but you won't abuse it as much in this game) and quick switching speed (but you don't need to output THAT much damage to do well since normal quick switching should be more than enough)

Honestly, just go wild and if you know what you are doing, you can be really aggressive.

Oh, and most weapon mods are better now than in doom 2016. The scope mod won't make you cross eyed, the chain gun is actually usable (only used micro missiles for doom 2016 for bullets since they sounded fun and the chain gun just felt to clunky in 2016) and the double mastery is replace with a grappling hook so you won't stay on auto-pilot for half the game.

Still one of the better Battle Royale games available on the market but there lies one of the problems. It's a br which means a lot more waiting that fighting. Not that there's a lack of fighting in this game, far from it. One of the matches ended with me and a buddy fighting for 3 minutes just trying to clear of all the enemies.

And that's the other problem. The current map. Choke heavy and 3rd party city. That match that I talked about, we lost to the 5th and 6th squad that arrived in the area (duos btw). Yes, meaning that in we had to fight 13% of the lobby of 60 players then to lose to another 6%.

Still fun (Maining pathfinder if you are wondering)

Lame and poor enemy variety, MMO style hub, a lot of microtransaction, short story mode I beaten in like 3 hours that has no pay off, everything is lane based but with added twist and turns so anything built not in the lane is pretty much unkillable.

Euh... I mean, I can see the enjoyement for like a dozen or so people but it's not for me.

What once was a balance game that didn't had any unfair microtransactions with only the ones that existed for a while included the club pass which allowed for different way to plays by spicing up the gameplay.

They added other microtransaction later on with tower skins which only impacted gameplay on what an tower upgrades looked like but didn't give a player.

I know that there's is a kinda annoying unlocking system at the start but the game will try to put you with players in a similar position as your own which make it (weirdly enough), the best time to try to get the winstreak oriented trophies.

But then 6.0 dropped. Granted, we had bad meta's in the past, both on the flash and steam/mobile version.
Flash had Ring of fire and basically whatever was needed to be able to defend as much rounds as possible without needing to think about the opponent.
Steam/Mobile had dart farm chipper since chipper stall affect zomg's, Ninja wiz mortar due to the bad reputation. Heck, we could argue the ice dartling village was a worse meta that everything we ever witness.

But all thoses metas where temporary. 6.0 wasn't. Uptade 6.0 was when they added powers.
A grindy/pay to win system that was added in an already mixed system to begin with. People argued
the old system had issues like negating some aspects of micro by the simple touch of a button or
that a rush could become a threat by just saying so. at least the old system was fair since both players
at the same tools.

But not in 6.0. The new system which got envelopped by the problem with the current mobile market
is just insulting. Example: base track power, drop a pile of 20 spikes that can pop 1 bloon each which can
be used a tool of 3 times per match. It's fair until you realise your opponent could have a pile of 30 spikes,
or a shield that can block 150hp worth of bloons, glue that at one point, could solo like the first 5 rounds if
uncontested.

Not enough unfair for you, what about upgrading your tower boost to make the enemies irrelevant.
Being confident you can protect yourself until round 13 or round 18? then use a bloon or moab boost which
make the original boost look like a snail in concrete.

And they didn't stop there, oh no. what about adding a new set of powers themed about making
the life of your opponent worse directly. Said pack include a stun that disable your tower for 8 seconds
which destroy early game. of course you can sell the tower but that refund will hurt you in the long run.
Stunning one tower isn't enough? what about ALL towers for 2 seconds (was original 3). In that amount
of times, all regrow bloons had probably had time to regrow at least once, all bloons faster than a red
had time to cover a minimun of 10% on any map that is not epiclategame. Don't like stunning towers,
what adding restrictions to selling, restrictions on buying, restrictions on using abilities, restrictions
on using powers which just feel like a NO U card.

And there also the Economy powers which is basically the game asking what way to you want
earn resources faster.

But don't worry, the community pushed and pushed trying to get NK to get a mode like the good old
days. and they succeded, oh wait, no powers at all. And places to pick said options are real slim.
So the community pushed again. NK obliged. NK actually gave what people wanted. Minus the
fact that the options to play said mode was even more slim than the first result we got.

At least some people got what they wanted which was already available in the past, only to
be taken away from us.

Only driven away 2 of the best youtuber/twitch streamers of the community who didn't see this
franchise as a click bait machine with all the shiny graphics and powerful attacks made for thumbnails.
at least one of them stick with btd6, the other one got bored of the series.

Tournament system sucks at 2 things. 1, having the option to play with the old power sets we have grown
attached to. 2, if the code was spagetthi, you could feed a lot more people that you think.

To finish off, clan war system seem functionnal but the ui is worse than trying to make sense of that one
time I was drugged with morphine at a hospital.

To conclude, this game is dead since it got murdered and I'm sad for it to be gone.
A shame for not posting this sooner.
This took 30 minutes of my life to write but these 30 minutes where more worth it than booting up the game
once final time.

Good game. Just find it a bit weird that demons sometimes take damage for no reason or even die of screen, happens like 2 to 4 times per level even on ultra-violence. Excluding that, it's a damn good game. real good.

Really bad game, gameplay not fun, stuck on bot matches to play, you can smell all the microtransaction from space (pay/grind 2 win tech tree which feels even worse than what the hypixel minecraft server has sometimes, battle pass, characters that are locked behind pay wall).

even if it's free, don't download it, it just gonna waste your time.

One of the few games where the actual gameplay is more intense than the actual trailer.
