We are very happy to launch the 'Fairy Tales' update for Dungeon Defenders 2. This update includes a lot of new content, such as C11, a new map with a boss fight, a new hero (The Jester), new skins for the Defender Pass, new shards, titles, pets, and more!

A trickster from a realm of pure chaos, the Jester wields enchanted cards, volatile toys, and carnival-born machinery that bends fate to her whims. Her arrival turns any battlefield into a dazzling, dangerous performance.

• Primary Attack - Basic Staff Attacks

• Secondary Attack – Hammer Boomerang: Throws a hammer in a straight line, piercing all enemies it hits. After reaching its max range, the hammer returns to the Jester, dealing increased damage on the way back.

• Card Barrage - Unleash a flurry of enchanted playing cards in a wide cone, slicing through enemies with magical force.

• Chattering Teeth - Throws a pile of chattering teeth that bite nearby enemies, then latch onto their heads, dealing damage over time.

• Surprise Present - Places a surprise present that detonates when triggered, damaging and stunning all nearby enemies.

• Tell A Joke - The Jester tells a joke, healing nearby allies and driving enemies mad, causing them to attack each other for a short duration.

• Party Popper - Fires a range of projectiles a Magic Missile, Harpoon, Water Balloon, Poison Flask, and Oil Flask

• Jack In The Box - Summon a giant jack-in-the-box present that pops out and punches enemies, dealing massive damage and knocking them back.

• Balloon Machine - Build a Balloon Machine that creates Balloons that fly to and explode on contact dealing magical fire damage.

• Confetti Cannon - Fires a burst of explosive energy that showers the area in confetti, dealing Magical damage to all enemies in range.

• 52 Pickup - Increases the damage of Card Barrage by x%.

• Hammer Barrage - Increases the number of hammers thrown by X. and the returning damage scalar by y%.

• Encore - Increase the enrage duration of Tell a Joke by x seconds.

• Gift Explosion - Increases the damage of Surprise Present by x%.

• Hammer Time! - Your attacks have a 30% chance to spawn a Hammer that pierces enemies dealing x% of your Hero Damage as Magical damage.

• Laugh It Off - Increases the effects of Tell a Joke heal by x%.

• Party Stockpile - Increases max charges and active charges of Surprise Present by x the damage of Surprise Present by y%.

• Present Delivery - When you throw Chattering Teeth on the ground, a Surprise Present is also placed at the center. When activated, it deals x% of Ability Power as magical damage.

• Punchline - In addition to its healing effects, Tell a Joke restores x% of your mana per second for 8 seconds.

• Sharp Bite - Increases the damage of Chattering Teeth by x%.

• Shrapnel Whirl - Increases the damage of Boomerang Hammer by x%.

• Comedy Empowerment - After using an Tell A Joke increase damage by x% for 6 seconds.

• Comedic Defense - After using an Tell A Joke take x% less damage for 6 seconds.

• Trick Deck - Increases the range of Card Barrage by x%.

• Bonus Surprise - Whenever your Jack In The Box attacks, it explodes in a burst of confetti, dealing x% of your Tower’s Health as Magic Damage.

• Critical Miss - Increases the Defense Power of the Confetti Cannon by x%, but it can no longer deal critical strikes.

• Concussive Pop - Ballon Machine has a x% chance on hit to stun target for y seconds and deal +z% damage to crowd controlled enemies.

• Draining Punch - Each time your Jack In The Box attacks, it heals for x% of its max health.

• Gummed Confetti - Confetti Cannon now make enemies move at x% speed for y seconds.

• Burning Balloons - Balloons have a x% chance on hit to Ignite targets, dealing y% of the tower’s damage per second.

• Firework Show - The Party Pooper attacks generate 1 stack. At 5 stacks, it fires a Fire Work dealing x% Defense Damage in an area

• Ramping Chaos - When the Party Pooper's attacks damage an enemy, the Party Pooper increases its Defense Damage by x% for 2s. Stacks up to 10 times.

• Colorful Chaos - Slain enemies explode for around x as Magical Damage, and leave behind an area of Chattering Teeth on the ground that deals y per tick for 5 seconds.

• Dodgeball - The Party Pooper attacks generate 1 stack. At 3 stacks, it fires a Jester Ball dealing x% Defense Damage.

Uses dark magic to summon protective shields around her allies, reducing damage taken, increasing movement speed, and gaining health regeneration. The witch also summons reanimated bunnies. These terrifying bunnies move fast and attack viciously. They also leave a cursed area on death, reducing the damage of towers, and they also take more damage.

• Haste Infusion - Increases the tower’s Attack Rate by x%. When the tower deals damage, it gains y% increased Defense Damage can stack up to 5 times.

• Withering Fountain - Abyss Fountain withers enemies inside it reducing the damage they deal by x% and increase damage taken by y%

• Grasping Stone - Enemies move at x% speed when they are within the Abyss Stone.

• Arcane Barrage - Your attacks have a 30% chance to spawn arcane volly dealing x% of your Hero Damage as Magical damage.

• Bewitching Hour - Each Primary attack hit adds x% to the damage of the next Snipe. Stacks up to 5 times.

• Call Of The Koblod - Defeating an enemy grants a charge. Secondary attacks consume charges and shoots a firework at your targets for x% of your Hero Damage.

• Corrupted Power - Increases hero damage of the dryad by x% while in Corrupted forum.

• Boiling Blood - Causes the Barbarian to take x% of his Max Health every 5s during combat phase gaining Fury.

• Death’s Grasp - When you defeat an enemy, you generate a charge, up to a max of 5. When you block with your shield, all charges are then consumed each unleashing a fireball that deals x% of your Armor as magical fire damage.

• Mana Sacrifice - Restore x mana upon defeating an enemy while Holy Fire is Active.

• Meteor Rain - Manabomb opens a portal overhead that spawns meteors that deal x% of your Ability Power stat as damage to enemies they affect.

• Overcharged Blast - Increases Mana Bomb damage radius by x%, and reduces damage falloff by 50%.

• Constrictor - Defeating an enemy adds a Constrictor stack. At 5 stacks, unleashes a bed of constrictor snakes that stun nearby targets for Xs. While stunned, enemies take y% Ability Power as magical damage each second for 3 seconds.

• Serrated Sword Beam - Sword Beam causes the target to bleed, dealing x% of your Ability Power stat as magical damage for 5s.

• Healing Talisman - Talisman heals hero inside it for x% of your hero health.

• Whirling Power - Each hit from Whirlwind grants a stack, increasing Whirlwind’s damage by x% per stack. Stacks reset if Whirlwind does not deal damage for 3 seconds.

• Armor Shattering - Your Earth Shatter reduce the enemy's resistances by x%, increasing damage dealt to them.

• Case Shot - When the Cannon Ball hits a target it has a 50% chance to explode dealing x]% damage to nearby enemies.

• Hardcore - Decrease the Defense Health of the affected tower by x% but increase the Defense Power by x%.

• Panic Fire - When the affected tower takes damage, increase its Attack Rate and Damage by 50% for x seconds. Does not work with Auras or Traps.

• Serpent's Curse - Serpent Coils have a x% chance to curse enemies for 3s. All serpent coils deal y% more damage to cursed enemies.

• Soul Fire - Ramsters have a x% chance to burn enemies on hit, dealing x% of tower damage over 5 seconds.

• Superswarm - Increases the defense power of the Hornet’s Nest by x% for each additional Hornet’s Nest built within range.

• Piercer - Defense projectiles pierce shields and do x% of their damage.

• Life Steal - Your attacks heal you for x% of your max health.

• Unique Fortitude Servo - +x Health if only one is built.

• Speedy Chip - +x Hero Speed.

• Chrono Servo - +x% damage to slowed enemies.

• Chrono Chip - +x% damage to slowed enemies.

• Jack of All Stats - +x% Tower Damage, Rate, Health, Range, Crit Chance, and Crit Damage

• Fragile Crit Damage Chip - +x Crit Damage. After taking damage, lose this effect for 10 seconds.

• Plated Armor - take x% less damage.

• Unique Harden Servo - -x% Damage Taken if only one is built.

• Unique Range Servo - +x% Defense Range if only one is built.

The newest map coming to Dungeon Defenders 2 introduces the Jester’s evil, chaotic carnival as it descends upon a once-peaceful town.

• Bouncy Ball - Primary Attacks fire a Bouncy Ball x% Hero Damage as Physical Damage and bounce off three surfaces. Projectiles fire once per second and explode dealing x% Hero Damage as Physical Damage.

• Confettiplosion Chip - Enemies have a 50% chance to explode when killed dealing around x as area damage.

• Jester Head - Your primary attacks pumpkin your enemies. When a pumpkined enemy dies they explode dealing x% of your Ability Power as damage. When a pumpkined enemy is hit with a melee attack, increase the Hero Critical Chance of the attacker by x% for 5s.

• Rainbow Unicorn: Ability - Rainbow Fury - Fires 5 Rainbows, dealing 500% magical Hero Damage each.

The Daily Winter event gifts have returned, as well as some returning winter-themed maps and new special event pets.

The Evil Nutcracker, Pumpkin Mage, and Golden Krampuslich pets can be found on the 3 winter-themed maps, The Gates of Dragonfall, Forgotten Ruins, and Nimbus Reach, at the end of the map completion chest on any difficulty in expeditions. The Golden Santa Drgolitch can be bought in the black market
