It was an incredible experience. It's a short, yet emotionally rich journey set in Shoshone National Forest, blending forest ranger roleplay with the engaging voice of a coworker character. The game doesn't spoon-feed you with quest markers; instead, it equips you with a compass, map, and a radio, making the adventure feel authentic and immersive. The open-world storytelling and the freedom to explore really stood out to me. Highly recommended for its deep narrative and unique gameplay.

"Stranded: Alien Dawn" offers a diverse gaming experience with its wide range of biomes, scenarios, and resource-rich, randomly generated maps. It supports a variety of play styles, from a peaceful, meditative experience to challenging tactical tower defense gameplay. The AI minimizes the need for micromanagement, and the beautiful graphics paired with stable performance enhance the overall experience. Continuous development post-release and a vibrant modding community add further depth to the game.

However, it falls short in certain areas. Some gameplay mechanics feel overpowered, diminishing the challenge once your base is established. It lacks complexity in social interactions, trading, and health systems compared to similar games. Pathfinding issues, a cumbersome construction process, and imbalanced task completion times detract from the enjoyment. While visually appealing and offering hours of gameplay, it doesn't quite measure up to its competitors in terms of depth and refinement. Recommended for fans of the genre, but be aware of its limitations and ongoing development.

I'm a huge fan of cooperative games like this one, where you and your friends crew a spaceship. However, many such games have made gameplay choices that didn't quite align with my preferences. Void Crew, on the other hand, comes closest to delivering exactly what I've been looking for:

Exploring a spaceship with friends, providing an immersive experience with interactions like levers, switches, and doors (I have a soft spot for the hyperspace lever).
Embracing a 'low-tech' atmosphere that requires manual teamwork for certain tasks.
Venturing outside the ship for EVA flights to repair hull breaches and explore asteroid bases, abandoned shipwrecks, and derelict stations.
Balancing ship battles as the primary focus with elements of exploration and stealth.
Offering loose crew roles (Scavenger, Gunner, Pilot, Grease Monkey) that enhance your abilities without locking you into a rigid job description.
Void Crew already embodies the kind of crew-a-ship game I've longed for, and it holds immense potential for further improvement. I encourage you to give this game a try with your friends and help keep this exciting experience alive.

This is one of the best story-driven, randomly generated games ever made. It's insane how much there is to do in the game, a huge skill tree grows bigger over time, engaging gameplay that makes you feel like a king, and even if your colony is doing well, any second you're destroyed by an ancient space ant from a tomb that dies of starvation. Then you open the cryosleep beds and thousand-year-old pirates kill all your men and burn down your buildings. One of the best games ever.

BEST STRATEGY GAME EVER

Very addictive little but tough game.

Battle Brothers is a pretty great game. It's harsh, brutal, and unforgiving, and it plays off of that concept in beautiful ways. It's a game that's simple to understand on the base level but contains an incredible amount of depth.

Superior graphics to the original, the only problem is the voice acting. I didn't mind the tutorial and found the gameplay very fun as I spent my first bout playing for 4hrs. Feel as if people review bombed it because they forgot about all the bugs and useless features in the first.

HighFleet is a good game. It can be challenging, brutally so, and it has some issues with the way it handles things. But you can see the logic behind most of the concerns (that aren’t bugs), so it makes it easier to accept.

This games blows world of warships out of the water and world of warplanes out of the sky. It is free to play but the game almost never feels imbalanced in favor of players who pay. You can play in hundreds of tanks, planes, helicopters, and ships from the 1930's to the 1990's. There are tons of modes and ways to play such as arcade mode, realistic, and simulator, each with a mix of different types of vehicles to play.
