Best Lego-game ever made. They also fixed the performance since the beta and have added a lot of free convenience features. Nice do see a developer that cares.

However, I would prefer more expansion campaigns like the main game where you have to struggle against the environment for new parts.

Don't buy it if you want to play COOP.

Game has an engine-based networking problems that causes all players joining a host to lag. This makes the game horribly floaty and your weapons will fire 0.5-1 second after you pull the trigger.

Handling model is complete crap if you play with controllers. Cars feel weightless and uncontrollable until you have to brake, then they just slide forever.

Traffic AI is retarded it will ruin the game for you unless you want to download a better traffic mod and make the game your job.

Not enough freedom to chill and build up slowly. The game is designed in a way that makes cities implode on themselves unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Kojima is also clearly a raging pervert. I wouldn't even call it 'fan service', we are well beyond that into Kojima service.

Be prepared for crashes, hangups and network problems. If you want to use a steering wheel, be prepared for it to either not work at all or have periodical issues, even if you have one of the most commonly used models on the market. The settings menu is also a total mess some settings conflict with each other and others disable each other with no apparent logic behind it. If you for instance want to rebind buttons on the controller, then you have to work around the fact that there are 4-8 keys that are REQUIRED despite anyone sane never using them, such as the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ANNA helper-companion.

It is clear that this is no passion project, because for all the content being made and released on a constant drip, nothing is being done about the core problems this game has and none of the updates do anything about simple player convenience changes. One example would be that if you collect one of every car in the game, then you cannot choose the colour, vinyl and tune for each of them, because the game is severely limited in how many 'layouts' you can store.

I got my money's worth, as my hours make clear, but I would never recommend this to anyone, because it is such a gamble if it will even let you play the way you want or at all and none of the issues that have persisted since launch are ever getting fixed, because the developers have put this game on life support while they work on DLC and a sequel.

I suggest you instead give your money to a developer that listens to player feedback and fixes technical issues.

Lots of bugs and crashes still persist years after launch.

Don't bother, unless you really, really, really love Halo.

Plays a bit like a mix of XCOM and a tabletop RPG without the annoying feeling of getting screwed over by RNG.

Plus you will want to watch the intro title drop over and over.
