Don't do it. Nexon are scummy publishers that have been fined for lootbox manipulation, and also own the patent on an RNG that changes the amount of loot you get in order to bleed you dry of money.

Its a fun space idle game. Play it.

Edit: Gamepires and Jagex Ltd have entered into a partnership without letting the playerbase know for at least a week. Looks like my prediction about microtransactions were on par.


Version 0.7 was going fine. Patch 0.8 rolled in sideways, on fire, and exploded in a gigantic gaseous toxic fart cloud.

New spawn mechanic costs in game currency (Watch them turn that into a microtransaction), the cars are buggy and literally crash the server and my game by daring to use them for their intended purpose (and heaven help you if you try to *gasp* store items in it, which then just disappear).. and the base building.. oh lord why couldnt they have just added the new stuff on top of the old stuff? Why'd they have to get rid of prefab buildings like the cabins? They were great.

And yes, I get that its early access and blah blah blah, there have been some really, really stupid decisions in patch 0.8 by the devs.

I'd wait a while for this one.

Quite good. Cathartic. Slap some music on and power wash the grime away.

Particularly in this day and age, with the war in Ukraine, this and "This war of mine" are must plays.

You do? Cool, get this game. It's great.

Plus the devs are adding more content for free, are active on the discussions and their discord, and seem to genuinely care about the community.

April 27: I was enjoying this game a lot, but the latest update, in a fully released game, invalidated my save file, so just be aware that they could, at any time, wipe ALL your game progress with an update. That is a dealbeaker for me.


Feb 27:
It's a pretty decent city builder, although it has a few problems like being unoptimised, having some clunky gameplay and whatnot. It's also much more like civ than a regular city builder; it's definitely much more of a marathon than a sprint. Try and expand too fast and you'll have problems. Expand too slowly and you'll have problems. Expand the wrong way and you'll have problems. Lot of trial and error, for me at least.
Still, worth a go. Recommend looking for it on sale rather than full price, unless you're really into it.

For as long as they keep prioritising monetisation through cosmetics and shiny new features that inevitably wind up broken after the devs move on to the next thing over bug fixes, optimisation, and substance, I will never recommend this game, and frankly I am disgusted.

Quite a fun little survival and exploration game. Just released onto early access, but despite this, it is a fairly developed game. The developer has already spent 3 years on this game, and it definitely shows.

I'll be keeping my eye on this, so that it can hopefully realise it's full potential, as it has the makings of a classic indie game.
