Ninjas pay fee. In all seriousness though, definetly would recommend Warframe to others. The game's microtransactions are a bit iffy but hey can't expect less from an amazing FtP

Update 27/03/2024 - Still recommend this game to others however would rank it higher now. If you have other devices with warframe accounts I would recommend people to activate cross play/save if they haven't already and would recommend making your primary profile the one with least amount of progress if your bored and have nothing better to do.

Update 02/10/2024 - I have mixed feelings on the Warframe 1999 update they have teased as it can either be the best thing DE release or it will kill them off. Really loving the new UI and QOL changes they made in today's update. Definitely will still recommend Warframe to people as DE (and Pablo) are cooking with the updates.

Update 01/04/2025 - Les go, into the new year and god daym Digital Extremes was cooking with 1999. Techrot encore also was amazing and added a fair bit of content. Pablo and his team was cooking behind the scenes because daym the exhaulted and map reworks was beutiful, now we just need the modding system revamped as its way too complicated for veterans, poor newbies. PLS FIX BUG GAME DE xD.

In all serious though, Warframe just gets better and better and still worth the download.

Update 27/11/2025 - So it's been a while, many a thing has been added. More reworks have happened which has freshened up old frames a ton, I am excited to see with what they do with the new story coming out in December so hopefully that is good. But yeah... Still recommend Warframe to players.

Update 14/12/2025 - So, The Old Peace happened and oh my sweet jesus, Digital Extremes was cooking. 10/10 would go on a villain arc again. Cool new gamemodes have also arrived with this content drop and damn it feels so refreshing as you do a bit of everything while descending the levels of descendia *badum tssh*. Perita Rebellion is also cool, feels like I'm back in the warframe version of nam? Anyway all shiggles aside I do heavily recommend people playing this update or just warframe in general. P.S. more Uriel pls

Update 20/02/2026 - So been playing warframe a bit since The Old Peace dropped. I may or may not have broken some builds (see videos below on my profile.... and yes for the people not viewing on my profile then guess that is an L but oh well not the point xD) Not much to say other than game gud and still very grindy. 10/10 would go into Lotus' bath water again.


TL;DR

Warframe good

Free to play but grindy (which realistically us long time players are used to it)

Updates consistently slap

Reworks breathe life into old frames

UI & QOL changes are always amazing

Modding system is complicated to new Tenno (slightly better after adding the teacher quest however it only covers the pure basics)

Still 100% worth downloading

Would commit space crimes again
