Good Update. New stage, new class, new god, new boons, skill trees, rebalances.
Sure, it might be annoying for returning players to lose lots of progress and have to adapt to the changes, but that is what early access is for.
If the Act 2 update is broken down into smaller patches, it probably will receive fewer backlashes from old players.

The game has an excellent branching narrative with a focus on character relationships.
Couldn't wait for the rest of the episodes.
Black Tabby will become one of my favourite studio if they can keep deliver what they've made.

This game is branching narrative pushed to extreme. Literally every choice creates an entire new path or outcome. Every click feels like stepping into the unknown. The short time required for every run also makes the thought of exploring all these possibilities much less daunting.

Adding EAC to kill modding is such a courageous move. I hope their bravery will be rewarding till the very end.

A fresh take on the genre. The complexity of relationships between characters is simply wild. However, this does take lots of control out of the player's hand which is not necessarily a bad thing. It really makes you feel how limited you are as an individual regardless of your position in a society. Part of the fun is to simply see how personal dramas could shape the fates of huge empires. Note that it takes a while (7 to 10 turns) for the social system to show its potential, so give the game some time before deciding whether you like it or not.
If you expect deep empire management or combat mechanics, this game is not for you. In fact, everything other than the character & social elements is very rudimentary.
