British Academy Film Awards - Nominations 2017

Greetings fans and followers of Fantasy Film Scripts. Today we have the British Academy Film Award nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Adapted Screenplay. The finalists for each category are:

Best Original Screenplay: Hell Or High Water (Taylor Sheridan), I, Daniel Blake (Paul Laverty), La La Land (Damien Chazelle), Manchester By The Sea (Kenneth Lonergan) and Moonlight (Barry Jenkins).

Best Adapted Screenplay: Arrival (Eric Heisserer), Hacksaw Ridge (Robert Schenkkan, Andrew Knight), Hidden Figures (Theodore Melfi, Allison Schroeder), Lion (Luke Davies) and Nocturnal Animals (Tom Ford).

Golden Globe Awards 2017 - Best Screenplay Winner (La La Land)

Greetings fans and followers of Fantasy Film Scripts. Yesterday we had the Golden Globe awards, which I was unable to watch due to work and unable to post earlier about as I was busy organising my stag do. I am here now however so do not despair. The winner of Best Screenplay went to La La Land. The other finalists were: Hell Or High Water, Manchester By The Sea, Moonlight and Nocturnal Animals. Are you happy with this result or do you wish it went to another film? Let me know in the comments below.
