Go to your config, there's a typo

Under MinimumStreamingTextureResolution There's a typo, it's spelt Resoltuion instead of Resolution.

As it stands there's no "minimum graphics" the game is striving for with that screw up, correct it and you should get more performance.

Apparently that Specific line is a config used in many different games, and it's ment for "This is the absolute lowest we will render things"

EIther way a typo in a config file is never good, same thing happened with colonial marines lmao

Not very observant, there are dozens of typos in the config file.
If you correct them, all you're doing is resetting your INI file, it's easier to just delete the file :rofl:

That's the INI File the game downloads from steam lmao. IDK How well deleting it will fix those errors when you go to redl it /from/ steam again.

The Config Parameter is intentionally misspelled. The Engine itself is working correctly with the "misspelled" variable.

Changing this ONLY results in so the Engine does not understand the changed and corrected word so its a fallback and resets its value. THATS why you get a performance boost, since the Texture Resolution gets changed back to default value (Its lower than before you made the change) and actually look worse than before = fps boost.

For me changing the config.ini misspelled make a huge different with great graphic setting. 2k with high preset, i got stable at 60-70fps during the hole game. Even the popup environment getting faster than before.

The game still works even with that typo in the config file- complete placebo effect. Instead of coping that you're getting free performance by fixing typos in ini files, spend that time holding Crapcom accountable for their abysmal engine and coding instead.
