Yes it's pretty much the substitute in this game if you don't have Speed Eating 3. Potions get consumed reeeally slow in this game without it.
I don't bring it up as a factor because I want to compare hunts at a base level between two different games using similar or the same tools that are found in both games.
Also I'm not someone who incorporates a Seikret into my gameplay anyways.
If you played through all three games on 3DS back to back how do you think you would fare when you load up one of the next two games? Think about it
I sort of skipped Rise. Bought it, tried it, considered it way too dumbed down and never actually finished it.
I saw much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fling around about this games difficulty but calling the healing system something that proves that this game is more challenging than worlds is some A+ mental gymnastics.
I'm doing 400+ dmg on wounds, which I can constantly apply. I never miss my blade dance attacks because of the focus system. I can perfect dodge to apply even more dmg by dodging. This system is in general more forgiving, especially when you know what you are doing. Good for newcomers, but absolutely busted in the right hands.
Whoa...whoa...that's Congolala's gimmick.
It's always fun watching people getting pelted with Poo as a Bow User.
Running around while downing a potion was definitely a negative talking point when World game out make no mistake.
They "balanced" this in Wilds with the system you're familiar with. But now we have several factors such as readily available Seikrets (even in Wounded Hollow), Ghillie Mantle (also in World) and overloaded Palicos. Essentially healing without Speed Eating isn't an issue if you're using these.
I only have the mantle since you can't unequip it unlike World (hello casualization) but then again, does it really make sense if you put on some leaves in front of a monster's face and it suddenly can't see you like it's an invisible cloak?
I checked my PC and the only thing I really need for the lowest requirements is more RAM because all I have is 8 GB. I really like the Beta, even if my monsters were big, pixel blobs. I have a feeling I will like the full version once it's all patched and expanded. Thanks! Maybe we'll meet up, just look for my Green Haired, Bow Using, Dual Blade Wielding Hunter and my Palico Fishstick.
