Difference between benchmark and Final game?

Hello,
many complain about the performance in the game with 4090 cards. I did the benchmark test with my 4070ti and was able to maintain a stable 60 FPS (with AI).

Is this a realistic value or does the benchmark not reflect the final game?

Can someone who did a benchmark test tell me if it reflects the correct game performance?

Game is sitting at 51% positive with many reviews stating that the benchmark is unrepresentative of the final product. I would suggest making full use of Steam's 2 hour refund policy if you run into trouble.

I benchmarked with a 4070 TiS / 9700X, Ultra preset, minus MB+DoF+Bloom (useless junk that makes games look worse), DLAA only, no upscaling or framegen, 1080p.

Had ~78 fps, with lows around 60 fps, occasionally dipping a bit below when loading into towns.

So far, this matches ingame performance. There's a mining town a bit into the game where it struggles to maintain 60 when loading in, but eventually stabilizes back above 60.

I'm surprised your score with a 4070 Ti is so low. Mine was ~27000. Try disabling the settings I mentioned. If it doesn't help, it's most likely your CPU is holding you back.

my friend got really bad value on 1080ti during benchmark, but playing the game on release is so smooth with no problems, even better fps than benchjmark

Thank you I deleted the Benchmark, i think i will download it again before i buy and test it without this settings :D

Currently the biggest problem for me is the bad story co-op, because I would like to play it from start to finish with my boyfriend :)

4070ti very good framerates but have a good cpu too..running all on max...just the game itself is ok at best.pretty linear.

I got the game and until now i got stable 60FPS with MB+DoF+Bloom off :)

They didn't include the anti-tamper in the benchmark. They should have though.
So yeah, the retail game will perform worse.
