Two cons:
1) The conversion gel is a bit finnicky (minor)
2) The player can get stranded at the bases of the supporting pillars just above the deadly goo. (major)

Also, I found myself dead before I hit the water, among other small annoyances such as not being able to place portals between chambers due to unrealistic use of clipping surfaces. A little realignment with the invisible surfaces and this test is just about perfect.

Great style, really good variaty of using gels, but I think it's unlogical to cannot set the portals on platforms which I can see, but ...hm.

I did give a positive rating, but I also agree with Bayram. The doors close very slowly and while standing on the button I was wondering if I am supposed to try to go through it. It didn't end well.

It isn't always obvious if a course of action is a cheat or the way things are supposed to go. The first room's solution feels like a cheat. There isn't much room for two portals on the first splash of conversion gel so as a player I don't know if managing to get two portals there is the way to go or a cheat.

First two exits not too hard but fun; Last Exit I fluked out because I just happened to place my last two portal shots very randomly just where they needed to be to ensure correct and continuous cube delivery. Try some of mine http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198082574081/myworkshopfiles/

There are invisible walls everywhere assuming to restrict portal placement to other areas of the test. I also noticed if you forget to press the button to release the cube and bounce over to the exit, you can trap yourself.

@Bayram Well thats not called playing Portal. Playing Portal is when you solve puzzles. Also I never really have any intention to kill the player when they do that. I just put a clip on the door that enables and disables from the button. But that killed playtesters when they playtest it. However they didn't nitpick on it. So I don't get why are you doing so. Besides, players normally do that when enter the chamber, so if they do die, autosaves on the entrances of each chamber will bring them back to where they were. To prevent this, yes, move the button away from the door but limited space in the sphere makes it hard to do so.

If the player stands on a button and a door opens right next to him, he's going to see if he can get through the door before it closes. That's not cheating, that's playing Portal. You might as well have portalable surfaces on the other side and call it cheating if the player shoots a portal through the open door. To prevent the player from doing this, you don't kill him, you move the button and the door further apart.

@Bayram Thanks for your solution video. But exsqueeze me. Death trap doors? Thats just the price of cheating. If not players can just stand on the button and leave the chamber without solving the puzzle. About the anti portal barriers, I had no choice. Well I admit that I could've designed the chamber a little better to prevent this. So you could you call it a lazy map design.

Nice Hammer work, but the puzzles aren't worth bothering with. No rating. I didn't like the death-trap doors or the invisible anti-portal barriers; that's lazy and unfriendly map design, you should guide the player's actions with visible and familiar elements, not tricks. Even so, I was able to re-use the cube from the first puzzle to open the door in the orange gel room and so skip that puzzle (blame the playtesters for this). Here is a video showing my solution (second run, the first took a bit longer).

The first stage is relatively stupid and the second makes no sense. That said, it's quite easy to bug it and lose quite some time simply spamming portals into walls hoping it makes results. The only one I found relatively fun was the third. Thumbs up regardless :)

Yea, the first room is not as hard as annoying, it takes some time to get the gel where you want it, it would be faster with normal walls.

@Dragon Align your portals properly so that you can shoot both on the gel. Once some gel goes through your portals move one portal so that it expands the gel splat and allows you to use the gel more easily :)

Another beautiful map and creative use of the 3 gels...Loved it but seemed all too short....Thanks for creating.
