After the success of Doom 2016 i thought nothing could top it. When Doom Eternal was annouced i thought it would be on par with the previous game, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Doom Eternal isn’t just an amazing game, its a revolutionary one. Literally everything from the gameplay to the story to even the music has been drastically improved which i didnt even think that was possible. You have your typical Doom loadout including shotguns, plasma rifles, and the BFG. Their are a couple of new additions to the arsenal like the ballista, the crucible, and the unmayker. The only problem is that since the ammo for the crucible is only in the last three levels, the weapon is kinda useless when replaying the earlier levels. The story is awesome with stunning places and badass demons and dialogue. One of the things that i love is the popular fan theory that the Doom Slayer is the original Doom Guy from the 1993 game was confirmed in a very deep and intense cutscene. Lastly, the customization for the Slayer and the various demons you play in the multiplayer mode are very funny and creative my personal favorite being the classic Doom Guy Skin. This game has me very excited for the future of not just Doom but fps games in general. I strongly urge everyone to give this game a try.
