Overall, I enjoyed Sniper Elite 5, it adds some interesting new features, but in a lot of ways it seems like a downgrade.

This is what I didn't like about the game:
- You can no longer run while crouched.
- Tripwire mines were removed, they were my favorite type of trap.
- The ability to throw rocks was removed. You can now throw empty bottles, which you can only carry a limited amount.
- You can't aim toggle anymore.
- A lot of objects that look climbable aren't. On the other side, you can actually climb pipes, which isn't highlighted in the tutorial mission.
- Only some kind of grass offers you cover from the enemies.
- When in grass or in iron sights, there is a highlight that you can't turn off around your player which ruins immersion.
- The enemy AI is not great.
- When picking up enemy weapons you can no longer switch to them completely. When they run out of bullets you will automatically drop them.
- There is a limited amount of weapons. They will probably be added back as 100 DLCs (that never really go on a big sale) in Zombie Army 4 fashion.

I really enjoyed playing this, truly an immersive experience. Having played the previous games, I have to say this is my favorite.

I'll start the review by mentioning I'm a long time fan of this series. Zombie Army 4 has a major shift in gameplay, sniping becoming less important and, as a result, the game feeling more arcade. The maps and enemies are good and I had fun playing it but I still prefer the trilogy over this, mostly because of the real feel of survival that it had and the darker tone. I have played all of the DLC maps, but I do think they're overpriced.

It's good, just as I remember it. There are some small issues with the cutscenes but the developers are aware and will probably fix it.

I rarely post negative reviews, but for this game I really have to. The performance is extremely poor despite the fact that there aren't many notable changes added to the original game.

The main issues I have encountered:
  • low frame rate,
  • slowdowns when driving,
  • the streetlamps are glitching at night,
  • the objects on the ground and the particle effects constantly flicker and stutter.

I really hope that Mafia I will have a better treatment, but I don't even know what to expect.

I was unsure whether to purchase the game or not (thinking it might end up like Battalion 1944), but so far I enjoy it.

Strange Brigade is definitely the spiritual successor of the Sniper Elite Zombie Army games, except the sniping has been removed. The Zombie Army games are some of my favorite games ever and I can't help myself but compare Strange Brigade to them. The Zombie Army games had a more dark and serious tone, whereas this is sunny and has a humorous tint to it. I liked better the Zombie Army games.

The game has 8 campaign levels, with one extra end game level. The campaign is pretty fun in single player but even better in coop. The horde mode is also pretty fun but there isn't anything interesting about it, just endless waves of enemies with increased difficulty. It can be pretty fun, especially in coop, but it doesn't have a finality to it, or something else then just the increase in difficulty. There is also a score attack mode, but I haven't played it.

There are 3 DLC maps. I did not play them yet because I think they are overpriced and should have been included in the base game.

What I didn't like about the game:
- the controls feel a bit clunky and unresponsive at times
- there is no sprint button and if you are overwhelmed by enemies you are stuck
- the enemies can feel a bit repetitive, especially the bosses
- in coop, the collectibles don't seem to share between the players
- the DLCs are too expensive

The game still feels like an early access title. There are still many issues with the performance and tons of server issues. The core gameplay is pretty fun, but it's more like a loading screen simulator until you actually get to play something.
