just let me down in general, especially since I am about 95% sure they will never bother to follow through with this game. they made their early access money, got bored from realizing how hard it is to make a game, and it seems that they gave up, with all progress reports being exactly the same for the past 6 months.

It's alright I guess. Far from being "a hallmark of excellence", and it is certainly innovative, but being that "innovative" is the headline of 99% of the reviews, they might as well just rename the game "innovation: red dude killing", because that's seemingly the selling point, but innovation only goes so far. Being very unlike half-life and system shock, and more like an aborted fetus born from sub rosa, hotline miami, and max payne.
I however could probably play this for hours easily, minus the fact that it's under 2 hours to complete just about everything, and If rating by stars were a thing here, I'd say 4 stars and a not recommended but not frowned upon game in total, but with the SUPEEERRR... HOOOOT.. playing on repeat right when all red guys are dealt with, that puts it down to 2 stars with a big just don't even bother. :)
i feel cheated for paying $16 let alone $25, remove "SUPER HOT" voice, add about 23 more levels and 10 more items to use in the game, and $25 would be perfect. I'd have rather donated $15 to a children's hospital and ate 100 pennies than pay $16 for this again.

keep in mind this is coming from someone who basically hated dark souls 1 without much of a given chance, and didn't even consider bothering with 2.
I have a feeling i'm going to spend the next few months on this game. It is amazing with some of the best graphics i've ever seen and although there's still a fair amount of "oh bs" moments, It is outweighed by feeling awesome after finally killing some thing that got you 20 times now.

Didn't like it too much at all, way too much that it basically does for you now. basically just hold the button/toggle stick to move forward and it can do 20 parkour moves by itself as you basically just watch it happen. you no longer feel like you're controlling the character, just pushing buttons to make them do things. Fighting expands on that feeling tenfold where i didn't feel like i was in a fight, more of just hit the buttons at the right time to let it fight for you.
ran perfectly fine for me with a gtx 770 though so that's good i guess.

worst horribly "cliche'd" and completely uninteresting characters ever seen in any game. i felt more remorse killing the forsworn in skyrim than i cared when 1 main character buddy dies. as everybody else says, you hardly ever have a chance to use your rifle and are sneaking around stabbing people or shooting them with a silenced pistol 80% of the game. the few times you get a chance to snipe, you notice (especially with the garand) that the physics are horribly scaled (which was obviously to make up for small map size), but the farthest i ever remember being able to shoot was like 220 meters, and with that the bullet dropped like 4 feet, it would hardly drop an inch in real life at 300 meters. nowhere close to as good as sniper elite v2, which i got for free, so i feel like i should have been paid to play through this game. it was so bad.
