Tried playing this game for the first time in a year and was suspended for 24 hours for harassment when trying to login. Suspension/ban system is broken.

Used to be good but now the game is unbalanced. Casual play with friends is nearly impossible thanks to server hoppers. Can not recommend the game in its current state.

Forced tutorial requires you to play 10 AI matches before you can play online, regardless of prior play time....

This is a good game in terms of gameplay, but forcing a tutorial which takes HOURS to complete is ridiculous.

I was hesitant to pre-order this game because I thought it was just a reskin of the old game, which is already on steam. However, I have been pleasantly surprised. Not only has the game been graphically enhanced, but it also contains brand new DLC on top of all of the previous expansions. For a price of $20 (or $15 if you owned the original), Age of Empires II Definitive Edition is definitely worth the money.

I am not too sure how i feel about Civ VI. I've played many of the games in the civilization series, and have 1500+ hours on civilization v on this account alone.

Every time I played Civilization V I would literally play an entire game and spend HOURS in one sitting. The graphics seemed great for the time of release, and even before the release of DLC there was alot of replayability.

When Civilization VI came out, I was so excited. I heard that the gameplay was totally different.

This is the only game in the Civilization series in which I have never finished an entire game. I know i've only played about 7 hours on this account, but for me, 7 hours was about the time I would spend per game in Civ V!

There's so much wrong with this game.

Case in point, Diplomacy.

A nation will be your best friend on one turn and then declare war on you the next turn. At first I thought this was clever espionage, but nope. Its nearly impossible to win over nations with trade deals. Diplomacy is an utter sh*tstorm. Declarations of friendship are almost meaningless. I can't count how many times my declared friends sneaked attacked me... Diplomacy is truly broken. I didn't buy this game at release just because of this issue when i saw all the thumbs down. However, I figured they would have patched this by now.

Adding housing was a mistake.

Dear god is this irritating. It's nearly impossible to satisfy your people. You think you've got a handle on things and 20 turns later your city is screaming at you for more housing. You can't add more districts because there is a population threshold and you can't reach that population threshold because you cannot add more districts. It's a never-ending cycle and it gets annoying early on. This was never a problem in Civilization V.

There are a few positive aspects of the game that I like.

They made the game more realistic and balanced by no longer allowing people to hoarde wonders in a single city. It used to be that whoever had the most production would get all of the good wonder, but i'm glad to see that this has changed. Also, despite what other people say, I actually like the new cartoony graphics.

But overall, this game was just a complete let down for me. I couldn't say that I would recommend this game, but I would definitly recommend it's predecessor, Civilization V. Perhaps this game will be improved with future DLC, but I just don't find it enjoyable in it's current state.

Very Dissapointing game. I've seen FREE Civ 5 mods better than this. Don't even waste your time/money on this game.

It might not be the best block building game out there, but you can't really complain when the game cost less than $1 and you can make your money back from selling cards.
