Surprisingly, the beginner edition is the best way I've experienced this game. The grinding of operators makes it feel so much more rewarding when you finally collect 12.5k or 25k and sit there pondering what seems like the most important decision of your life. The version of the game forces you to learn and cope with what you've got and in result gradually gives you a brilliant understanding of each and every operator. Yes, it's time consuming, but for me only being at level 30 at this point in time and being sat on 7 operators I couldn't be more pleased with the sense of reward I've felt. The game in itself is well optimised and there are very few game-breaking bugs or glitches that will really hinder an experience. It's a good competitive game that seems to be a AAA take on the classic Counter-Strike attack/defend style. 11/10.
