Good puzzles if a little easy. Nice visuals, well paced and snappy puzzle solving. Despite this the plot is depressing and the characters are all childish except the A.I, and the music is repetitive towards the end. I had to take multiple breaks because it's such a downer, but at least I got a refresher course on the difference between syntax and semantics.

Messy, uncoordinated matches based on split second reflexes and Champion gimmicks. Weapons are confusing, damage output and hit registration sounds are naff. Doesn't look good either, not because of a lack of technical fidelity, just no real art style or visual language to call it's own. Unfixable and not fun.

After a rocky start, Halo Infinite multiplayer is now an EXCELLENT. The game is no longer burdened by forcing you into playlists of modes you don't want to play. Squad Battle is also a choice, so you can choose between a sweaty 4x4, 8x8 or 12 by 12. The Bandit rifle is now the default starting weapon for Ranked and it's Awesome.

Overall, the gameplay loop is about gaining small time advantages over your opponent through your opponent through grenades, repositioning and consistent crosshair placement. In BTB It's the expected Halo Vehicle Clusterf*ck and bumrush. Halo is much, much more about game*play* than the slot-machine nature of most Battle Royale's or Counter-Strike's AK instadeath feature. It's a constant flow of push, counter-push and ambush that's optimised to maximise your gameplay time and mininise frustration where kills feel 'unfair' and not the result of poor decision making. Halo Infinite is FUN where other competitive FPS's are just aggravating.

Haters will hate me for saying it but Halo 3 is archaic compared to Halo Infinite, too much of a console classic that doesn't play well on mouse and keyboard. The sprint is finely tuned and enables maps to be less confined and more varied in positioning and utilities use (Halo 3 team slayer is a sweatbox, which is why the 'silly' modes are so popular). Infinite is more realistic in how combat plays out, if that term can be used for robo-spacemen.

10 out of 10, it took over 16 years, but Halo is the king again. It's the FPS for those who recognise a videogame should be rewarding and not a chore that demands a training regime or a Mtn Dew intravenous drip.

My thoughts on the new DLC outfit: It's... Okay. The sword is way too short and doesn't occupy enough of the hitbox. The ninja outfit is slick, but theme wise too close to the Warrior Monk of Season 2. Works with most animals but not decorative types like the Anubis I play. The Platinum fox seems to be a more masculine version of the Arctic fox, which is very curvey design wise. Nice shading around the eyes. Was it worth it? Only for the tickets for the next season pass. :greenfrog:

I bought this expecting an arcade racer I could jump into and it's complete the opposite. It's super "realistic" and is an absolute sweat out just to complete a course. It's not a series of races but time trials {?} so you're the only car on the track. Has a currency system for buying cars and crew members and stuff, I got halfway through a championship and my rustbucket was all smashed up and I couldn't repair it, so I tried to restart, and then the event kept changing to different tracks??? Idfk what the hell is going on in this garbage. Not recommended, an hour in and I'm never going to play it again. F- this game
