I have changed my review from negative to positive after Snoy backed off their PSN requirements, which would have effectively committed fraud and prevented over a hundred countries from playing the game after they had already spent money on it.

Helldivers 2 is incredible game.

The game is good. It is pretty hard. Leans most heavily into the tactical stealth genre like Deus Ex until your character can get very strong via equipment and weapons. Perhaps the most cynical, uncomfortable, and bizarre game I've ever played and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The game SERIOUSLY rewards exploration and creative approaches. A lot of the enjoyment in the game after beating it came from trying to find the fastest/most unorthodox way of beating missions.

It is a pretty damn good game. I've been playing it since it first came out for early access, way before vehicles were implemented. It might be a bit hard to get into for someone not familiar with the genre, but it isn't so bad so long as you communicate you are new; the community is generally happy to help people out understanding the mechanics of the game. If you have always wanted a high degree of teamwork in an FPS, this is the game for you.

Beautiful game with insane details, unbelievably immersive. I've never before cared what other NPC's would think of me based on what I was wearing and if I was dirty or not. The combat works smoothly 90% of 70% of the time.

This game is great and a joy to play. Mandalore and Sseth were right. Loads of depth, super responsive gameplay, total carnage, excellent musical score.

It is a good game. Wish they didn't charge money for the best commanders.
