Sounds boring on the outside but fun when you actually try it. Very high quality game made by just one person too!

It's at least as good as HL1 in the first part and way better than HL1 in Xen part. The quality of Xen chapters is just mind-blowing.

Can't tell if they're trolling the twitter snowflakes but they did remove suicide scene from the game to appease them. Don't buy if you also think that's unacceptable.

It's got a bit of early access vibes, but it's got even more Stalker vibes. So it's up to you what's more important.

Allegedly they have some kind of v2.0 planned soon.

For myself, I decided to complete it now and complete it again when v2.0 comes out.

CSGO in VR, definitely worth checking out

Visual style might not be appealing to everyone (it seemed quickly-put-together at first), but UI itself is consistent and it's pretty easy to get around all the game's aspects which is a very important aspect for this genre.

It is pretty easy to learn (only took me like 5 restarts from scratch lol) and has great creative potential. You will be able to manage transport, provide education and jobs, terraform your peace of land (or buy a new one, pretty cheap too) and build canals and many other things while the little bird at the top of the screen shows you how pleased your citizens are and if there are problems.

The game also appears to support mods extensively which is bound to please us PCMasterricers.

Pick it up along with 'After Dark' DLC (taxis and some other pretty-important stuff) and you will easily waste dozens of hours in this game without flinching if you are the slightest bit into that sort of thing.

Cool gaem. Simple premise, executed well. Fast matchmaking, fun to play by yourself or with your crew.

The one problem I can recall is that controls are kind of lacking for PC version (peasants' fault as always). For instance, there's still no acceptable mouse-look implemented (although it might be planned).

This game's biggest strong side is its boatload of content. It has building, taming, gathering, groups, flying, swimming, mounts, everything you could've dreamed of.

This game's weakest side is its optimization. Unless you have a high-end killer GPU like GTX 9{6,7,8}0, console-like experience with 30fps is to be had.

All in all, this is a decent long-term purchase and the devs seem to be active.

- game is what? 3yrs old? "competitive" search still drops 1-2 seconds after initiating with no error message
- when you actually find the match, surprise! you've got 120+ ping (even though you have set 90 as a maximum in settings), the other team? 50 tops
- when that happens, you can't abandon the damn match and you have to sit through it and get rekt like the scrub you are because otherwise you receive a penalty from the same damn system that put you in that server

All in all, this is a pretty OK game and there's definitely a lot of fun to be had with friends while playing it. However, there's no way in hell it's to be played competitively or in any way seriously (cons above). Given that it comes from GabeN, it's really surprising that it can't even match (let alone surpass) TF2 in overall quality. No idea why so many people keep playing this.

Nothing beats fu.c.king freezing to death in the middle of nowhere because a blizzard hits and you can't see sh.it anymore.
