It's Early Access but I'm happy playing it as-is. There are a few things I'd like to see added, like modifying ships like happened in Beat Hazard 2.

I'm fine with having weapons as they are and the shield breaking weapon is a nice addition.

I don't like how you can't select difficulty levels on missions beforehand and the fact difficulty is set to the previous missions as it's a PITA to get into the menu to change difficulty levels and then go to the mission choice.

I like the game and getting it with the soundtrack for under $15 on Steam during a sale was a no brainer.

There's no need to pick it up right this moment, but it is fun and if it's on sale it wouldn't be a bad decision.

I had to choose between this and crash bandicoot 4 and buying this was the right decision for me. Crash bandicoot 4 can wait.
