Alright so I got KOF XV Ult Ed just now during a sale. This review is for anyone who intends to play this on steam deck. Works well as expected and just use proton ge.

I'm more of a SF, Marvel VS, Tekken and MK fan. Never really got into KOF even back in the 90s so this is my first KOF and wanted to try something different. And oh boy is it different alright but in a good way. For a total scrubby noob like me it's a lot to take in with all the mechanics like movement, combos, super and special cancels it takes some muscle memory. I gravitated towards Luong for her flashy kick combos, that sleepyhead with a pillow lmfao and Clark for his grabs which I find fun to execute eventhough I'm not much of a grappler in other games. See that's the thing, I already am having fun and that's what matters. It really does suck that KOF is set on the way side overshadowed by the likes of SF & Tekken but KOF is a solid fighter anyone who's still on the fence should try. There's fun to be had with the huge roster, you're bound to find a team you're interested in. I'm a casual so I'll just leave the high level play to pros but watching them inspires me to improve my game one day at a time.

THIS GAME IS EASILY the best fighting game right now! Tekken and street fighter are fun but this game is HIGHLY UNDERATED but the only thing is the online is pretty much dead at the moment i would recommend to play with people on discord and have people to play it with.
