Best Borderlands game there is.

Great weird game but damn it crashes too often for my liking.

Pretty good, not as good as warband, but still good enough to get into.

Can't play lan for some weird reason, tried multiple times. It seems like this feature doesn't exist anymore, since I remember it working long ago.

A classic Point and Click adventured given the HD treatment. Highly recomended to both old and new players alike.

one of the best tbs games in hd! yes please, but without the expansions, it feels abit lackluster. still a game worth checking out!

A highly enjoyable sandbox game. See that image the game uses as it's logo? That could be you, on the back of a jet while another jet and his helicopter buddy is trying to gun you down.

The game runs well on a modern gameing rig, looks incredible and has such a vast playing area, that even I feel I have not finished exploring it yet. It does have a bare bones story attached to it, and some are put off by it, but rememeber, that isn't a sandbox games biggest highlight. Its biggest highlight is to be able to do anything you want, anywhere you want.

Go through the missions, cause mayhem and destruction. When you get tired of it, go hunting for collectables or just explore, by plane, car, helicopter or boat. There is a "extraction service", which is basically a teleportation service in the similar vein to quick traveling, but instead of just appearing where you want, you skydive out of a helicopter above where you want, for that dynamic entrance you always want.

Weapons vary from pistols, shotguns, sub machineguns, assault rifles and sniper rifles. Theres rockets, grnade launchers, grenades and TNT aswell. There are also agency vehicles, which can be upgraded to be more effective. The guns too can be upgraded. Buy the DLC and you get more agency vehicles and more guns. While not essential, still fun if you have the spare change for it all.

The map itself is large, with easter eggs dotted around for you to find. From tropical jungles and beaches, to deserts and snowy mountains, all populated with towns, military bases, airports, and cities, all connected by thousands of miles of road network.

Should you buy it? Ofcourse. Especially when its going for a fiver in the latest sales.
Should you buy the DLC? Only if you've put more than 24 hours into it. Then its safe to say you enjoyed the game enough that some extra guns and vehicles will enrich it somewhat.

PS: Theres a multiplayer mod now, there aren't any npcs in it, but 500 players all going nuts on the same server is a good trade off. Get some mates and group together for some fun. Plenty of servers aswell. Give it a go!
