Fun, well optimised game from Ubisoft on launch day? Truly 2016 is a wacky year.

First impressions, and I don't know where to start. In summary, I am blown away, this game is truly awesome. It captures the spirit of the classic we all know and love, adds some modern elements to it, which results in a great outcome without ruining what Doom meant to be. Run and gun, no reload, no sprint, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

7pm- Yeah i'll play this for a bit
9:30pm-Oh I can't just skip this mission, just one more
11:30pm- ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ avatar project, ok i'll lower its progress and that's it
12:00am-Ooh a supply drop, might as well test out this upgrade
4:00am- I wonder what the time is.....Oh....

Highly addictive and entertaining addition to the series, as well as a worthy follow up to XCOM: Enemy unknown/Within. As a matter of fact, its essentially XCOM1 but fresher. If you enjoyed the first game, you will definitely enjoy this. However if you're new to the series you might struggle a bit at first, but eventually you will get hooked. Pretty good purchase, I recommend.

Vaults and vault dwellers are actually metaphors to what happens to you when you start playing this. You shut yourself away from the outside world and live in "bliss". Do I want my life back? No, this is much better. Thank you Overseer Todd Howard.
On a serious note, yes it does feel a little simplified (but I'd argue that its actually an improvement overall) compared to other tittles, so if you're looking for a very indepth RPG, you might feel a little let down. Additionally, some people reported perfomance issues. So if you're on the fence about buying this, just wait a little bit for patches to fix things or for Steam sale at least, you're not going to miss out on anything. However if you are in need of a solid game to play that will last you for a long while, if you enjoyed Skyrim, if you enjoyed Fallout 3 or NV chances are you will enjoy this as well.

Flawless PC Port, stunning visuals, top notch gameplay, metric ton of content, open world, Hideo Kojima game. What more could you want?

Don't buy this, there is no date, or any indication on when PC will even get the promised content.

Worth the weight-Gaben

Think Dead Island with parkour and a lot of improvements. Dying Light is good fun, and Techland seem to be showing they really care about their community despite being essentially AAA and being under a rather sketchy publisher for Dying Light. This is probably one of the most surprising games I've played. I wasn't hyped up at all before the release, I just thought 'eh it looks alright, don't think I'd buy it though'. Now I can barely go a day without playing it. The $60 price tag is worth the singleplayer experience alone. I haven't even bothered to give multiplayer a chance because i'm still enjoying the free roam so to me anything beyond single player is bonus in and of itself
