Sprawl is a brilliant cyberpunk FPS with fantastic asthetics (world/levels/enemies), great gun- and gameplay with fluid movement, wallrunning, sliding and slowmotion - resulting in very satisfying combat in cleverly crafted levels which ooze style and atmosphere.

On top of it the game has a dope soundtrack (also on Bandcamp, btw).

What you see (and hear) on the storepage is what the game is like, so if you think that could be something for you then it probably is.

Played the legacy edition because of my m8 and me refusing to make use of epic services for coop.

The game is a buggy mess:
Crashes like a mofo resulting in lost progress, in coop we had to start missions over due to not being able to enter a chopper, or because my m8 could no longer move/shoot,
The finale was impossible to finish because of an endless loading screen after the first part of the mission. Happened over and over again. "Fixes" didn't help us, seems to be a known issue for more than half a decade, nice...

As a game it's very unlanced and compared to sr3 (which is a very entertaining game) worse in every aspect.

Fun and fast gameplay, appealing visuals and design. A bit short but worth it.

Awesome action packed fps, with clever gameplay and level design. Also features a dope soundtrack that fits perfectly :)

Very nice locations and lots of them.

It takes 1-2 runs to get used to the changes made (not affecting the base game), but there is more variety through the newly introduced random aspects.

Visiting the Chaos Wastes you start without your properties and traits, the shrines and altars handle that now.

Just finished playing through the different expeditions with one career, and maybe I'm wrong, but it might be easier here. Or the teams I played with, and the choices they made, were just pretty good, well, they were. Just an early impression I had.

3 Emperor Chests are possible, so if someone needs loot for the regular game mode - here you can get more in less time in comparison.

It's new, it's fun, it's free. Good stuff.

Great game, fast paced old school action based gameplay and level design, meaning you run around and kill a lot of baddies and navigate through the cleverly designed levels by finding keys to open the formerly locked doors till you find the exit, similar to old doom.

A nice arsenal of weapons which are fun to use, some pick-ups that can temporarily enable special abilities.

There is MP as well, but haven't played it yet, I guess if you play with friends you're in for a good time.

Top game for retro shooter fans, who like action set in a horror scenario.

A nice career that adds something new, which is good. Ofc it's just been released, but I don't see him as useful as Merc (as of now), but that can change with more experience playing him and possible future talent changes.

No ranged weapons can be an issue when it comes to ranged specials, but using his charged attack or his special carreer strike (when you just hold it) he can speed up quite nicley to close some gaps. The longsword is fun to use for sure, Exe is probably still superior. The quests for the Lady, which boost the team upon completion, are something not to be underestimated. And if you change his killer blow to horizontal it appears to be even more useful, multiple elites can be dispatched easily.

Also, it's a "plus" they added a somewhat "alright" pricing to it and made the cosmetics an optional bundle, but there I think it's overpriced. 5 bucks for the entire Knight bundle would've been more my cup of tea.

Right now, looking at the rather high price tag, and given that 4 more new careers are planned, that would be too much compared to the base game that costs 28 and comes with 15 careers (plus weapons, illusions and maps).

Well. I wouldn't mind having the cosmetics. But I surely won't pay the asked price extra for them (maybe on a resonable sale someday), just as I refuse to buy in-game hats for real money. No prob with some maps there.

DOOM Eternal turned out to be fun after all. After several hours of annoyance I finally enjoyed the game. It depends if one can deal with or adjust to the game mechanics or not.

If so then lots of good action with plenty of gore awaits, accompanied by the fitting soundtrack. The "story"/lore is also interesting, imho.

The at first somewhat confusing weapon/gear management during fights were odd, but with practice things got considerably better and easier as well. But if done right ammo, health and armor won't be an issue.

The platforming elements frustrated me the most, but later it was nothing. Once it's clear where to go just jump/double jump and dash is needed.

So I changed my review from negative to positive.

Good game SP wise, haven't tried MP. Plays smooth, looks cool, with much stuff to do or to ignore, because instead of doing missions I somehow always end up driving around wreaking havoc.

Now gimme my 200 holiday quest tokens

Great atmosphere and gfx, so if your a fan of the old Resident Evil games and like to see this one properly redone for modern rigs, or just like the genre in general, check it out.
