Controller implementation feels hacky... right thumbstick feels like mouse-emulated.
You can't hit anything without Bullet-Time.
Tutorial feels rushed.
Enemy hurtboxes are atrocious (If you stand next to Shield guy, you will take A HUGE DAMAGE)

It's as If developer had idea, but failed at basics.

Tight, well paced, and looks great without asking much for hardware. You'll be elbow deep in your John Woo bag before you know it.

This game was very enjoyable. I found the mechanics easy to learn and the game rarely felt repetitive with the three main mission sectors. I enjoyed the large amount of given guns but I do wish the starter pistols stayed a little more viable later in the game. The ai was generally decent except for the robot dogs which were quite unintelligent.
The movement was fairly standard but it seems there is more to it under the surface due to the momentum building I later learned can be gained from sliding, it served its purpose. The gun play was pretty nice and the hitboxes were not horrible. I do wish there was more cyberpunk-like places with neon signs and darkness often expressed in games like this, as it would fit the world which is already massive, urban, and ruled by super corporations it seems. The voice acting of the main enemy (SIX) was pretty horrible but it was still funny. The first 2 boss fights were good but the final boss fight at the end of the game was quite easy sadly. I found the environments still nice to walk through and the extra game modes are nice when you don't want to play for the story. This is a nice entry into boomer shooters and the aspect of it being indie makes it more respectable due to the small number of people that came together to create this game. I bought this on a sale where the game was around ~$4.50 USD, and the price was quite fair for the amount of content I got in this experience.
I would suggest this game and do wish there was even more content, as the level design, gunplay, movement, and enemy types are generally enjoyable to play with/against. For what it is I would say the game is worth $7-$9 USD at a base value for the content given. I am excited for the second game (Sprawl Zero) coming soon as it seems to build on this game. 7.8/10
