This is actually a good game, I was surprised playing it for the first time.

Really decent game. I wish there is more action/adventure epics though. Otherwise really good gameplay and variety in terms of levels, compared to 1 and 2. Hope they can keep it up. One pet peeve, the main menu says progress is 60% completion, but that means quest and stuff, not the actual linear story progression. I thought I was only 60% complete, when I was actually nearing the end of the game,

A good upgrade from Tomb Raider that I initially played in July 2013 and completed in Nov 2021 lol. Another nice adventure game, a bit movie like. I am surprised I quite like it.

My last play date was July 2013, while still studying. Just played this again and wow it's pretty good, kinda like a movie experience.

Good job crystal team! You sure did your hardest to make the game!

Early Access Review
This game is quite realistic, very different from the FPS games we have nowadays. If you just rush forward you will die. Teamwork is paramount, unless you are very good in spotting and killing enemies and tactics by yourself, and even then, you will not last long guaranteed. This is a team game. The command team is also very important in terms of leading. The game UI is not nice, but it's ok. Microphone is preferred for team chat, and almost required if you are in a leader role. The only bad thing is there is only 'official' servers and you cannot host/create one yourself yet. IF you have served in the army before, I think you will feel it's really realistic kinda. Give it a try! Their Update 10 is coming out. I think it is way better than Battlefield series even though the game is 'simple'. Of course it can be better.

Update: Been a while since it was released, much stable now (you can ignore my older review), but the problem is the content. This style of games only allow you to play through a few times and that's it, the replayability factor is not high at all, but it is fun to race to the end. Unfortunately this is the only thing this game has got going. They need to allow the players to skip maps they dont want to play instead of forcing it down their throat which turns me off so much. That, and to release new maps in bigger quantities, either official or custom. Otherwise this game will be gone very fast.

Poor planning. Do not buy for now, or refund first if you bought it. Will only give you frustration. Very unstable networking.

People complaining of hackers aside, the uptime of servers and the ability to complete a game is very low. I tried 3 days, only the first day was playable for 2 rounds. That's it, lots of disconnection after that.

Game is still accessible even when servers are taken down for maintenance. There is no warning of any sort, and players are left 'falling', while trying to find a game again and again. This is so, so badly handled. Waste of player's time, very bad communication.

They already know how many preorders there are, and PC gamers are paying full price of the game vs PS4 players. I don't see PS4 players complaining much about it because it's free. They should shift resources for PC instead of continuing it for PS4, depending on sales and downloads, to handle the outlash.

If they have foresight and good planning, we wouldn't be in this situation. It clearly shows that they underscoped and is unprepared for this sort of scaling. Or rather, they did not do a massive test and rushed for release. I mean, stats are there and they could jolly well prepared for it. I wonder if it's the publisher that pushed for it. Or maybe, they just hoped for the best and everything works fine. Or the code is just bad and they are now digging in to fix them. Either way, they are 'falling' very well!

Now that it supports PS3/PS4 controllers wirelessly by default, I can recommend this. But too bad it is only 1080p and doesn't support 4k streaming, a pity. Also, I bought this at the full retail price, but Amazon had it discounted till $20 (or was it $30), so maybe it will come again.

Hate the sensor, having a joystick would be better for actual feedback. Havent use it enough to recommend this over a PS4 controller.
