Gold-producing cards like Wish are typically tagged as HEALING so you don't get them randomly in combat. It seems like Dead or Alive isn't tagged. I can't remember if I've also seen Scavenge appear randomly.

When another character gains access to Hermit cards and they trigger Combo, the game crashes. This has happened for me when using game modifiers to add Hermit cards to another character, so I assume it also occurs when using Prismatic Shard.

Hey Alex I think I found a bug in a run of mine today. With blue candle, playing the memento curse exhausts it and gives -1 HP even though blue candle's description says "unplayable curses are now playable and ...".

It seems the way the code for blue candle is written it doesn't check for the card's playability or not and applies to all curses regardless.

Is this intentional?

Blue candle doesn't state that you only lose HP when playing an unplayable curse, you will lose HP when playing any curse, including Pride or Memento.

Hi. I took the clapsed locket and it added the 3 mementos to my deck. I saved and quitted at the beginning of the Donu and Deca combat. Later I pressed continue button and then, when the fight started, the exactly same screen that shows you the 3 mementos before adding them to your deck appeared and 3 more mementos were added to my deck. Curiously I DID NOT had 6 mementos in my in-fight deck, I had only 3. Due to this fight being the last one for me in that run I couldn't test if in a future fight i would have 6 o 3 mementos.

Hi. I had a problem with Malice. I saw some posts here where people complain about Malice not applying some damage modifiers correctly, like Pen or Akabeko, so I think it may be related. I had the following relevant cards: Memento, Horror, Ascender's Bane and Malice. I also had the Charred Glove, so drawing Ascender's Bane gave me a vigor buff of 4. I played Horror first, then Memento and then Malice, exhausting Ascender's Bane. Malice unupgraded with vulnerable (from Memento) deals 24 damage, plus 4 bruises (unupgraded Horror) 30, plus 4 vigor should be 36. The damage preview was ok, but finally the damage applied was finally 30

Funny enough Malice is probably on the chopping block anyway, so that might not be a problem in the future.

Edit: Nevermind, Malice lives. Fixed the damage stuff tho.

not sure if a bug or a card wording error, but Short Fuse says it costs 1 less for every strike/defend played This Turn, but the actual effect is every strike/defend played while it is in your hand. So if you draw into it after playing 3 strikes it won't cost 0 like the current wording implies.

I have The Hermit's relics showing up in other character runs. Not sure if this is a bug but would be nice to have an option to turn this off in the config if it isn't.

Had a crash. Here's a screenshot of the log information:

What happened: In Act 2 - and was facing the Knight/Cleric. Right when I defeated the cleric and expected to get the reward screen, it crashed immediately.

I'm assuming it has to do the reward screen. I retried and beat the knight/cleric again, and again it was the same crash, so can't proceed.

Hopefully this log information helps. I won't do anything right with the game for now, so if theirs clarity/question needed from me, let me know.

Hi, I've disappeared for quite some time et I wanted to test the updates. I've got this error with the last version of the mod com.badlogic.gdx.utils.GdxRuntimeException: File not found: hermitResources\localization\fra\HermitMod-Card-Strings.json (Internal)

I'm around again and can help with the french localization if needed
