an idea for 3 potions effects regarding MaxHp :)
(hi i had these ideas, which ideally would always work, even after the Muzzle effect which prevents MaxHP gain in endless/infinite mode)


via a Card, a Potion, and a Relic...

for the relic "HealthStone": Whenever you lose MaxHp, put that many charges/counters onto the relic. Then at the end of each combat and floor you rise, lose a counter, and increase your current HP and Max HP by 1 (so if you had 29/30 it would put you on 30/31hp).

for the card "Prevailing Regains", it would would be something similar, but would read (if you have lost any Max HP this combat, get back half of what you lost rounded up). + If you would lose any Max HP this combat, get back half of whatever you lose, rounded up at end of combat).

and the Potion "Potion of Heartyness" would be similar, to the card (except that it would also regain you 1 Max HP for each attack that actually damages an enemy, but nothing if that attack is fully blocked). :o)

(the main idea behind this, is that there are several cards from several mods, that are nice and fun to play with, but they make you lose half your maxHP permanently, or a good portion of it, which is no good when playing endless or infinite mode, when the monsters and bosses are getting much much stronger.

for example, some bosses i have reached had like 10 million hp :) and hit for 340+ per attack

I don't generally reply to these kind of suggestions because I prefer to use my own idea. But since you made a discussion, here are my thoughts:

1) It's weird because you are suggesting me to "fix" the problem of the other mod. The bad interaction of losing Max HP and Muzzle will happen without Gatherer, wouldn't it? Maybe you should ask the other mod to change, because it's BM to fix it here, I believe. (Disclamer: I don't think this interaction should be fixed.)

2) "Prevailing Regains" does nothing without other mods, because there's no basegame-way to lose Max HP during combat. Since most people don't play with it, I won't add stuff like this.

3) It's possible that you made these ideas because of Gatherer's card that care about Max HP. I actually regret making the HP archetype, because there's no real strategy over it. Sorry about that.

ah ok, thats ok thank you for your thought and reply celicath, and also for making the gather mod which is cool indeed :)
