That Dino Place Is looking for new players~

We are a chill, casual PVE server (with PVP tribe wars enabled, PVE players are still safe!) with a moderate amount of mods
Right now we have two servers clustered together, maps are Hope and Amissa, but I hope to open more maps in the future!
We also have a side server for all of Shad's Additional Creatures mods, which also takes place on Amissa.
Currently I got almost every DLC dino, including most of Genesis, between the two maps, and if not it will easily be fixed once reported.
Between the two maps we also have all titans and bosses except for Genesis's boss.

In This Life RP server is a friendly community of Role players. Drama or negativity is left off the server so if you're looking for someplace to do some role playing and escape reality for a while come join us!

The server is for age 16 and older role players.

As the oldest Ark within the system, the survivors who call Eltar home took it upon themselves to defend all life from greed and those who abuse power. The overseer who had yet to become corrupt by the sudden changes in the mainframe stayed true to us and helped build the utopia we call home. Learning from our ancestors we have found a new meaning for the technology that was found. With the help of the Overseer and Eltonion kings and queens we have managed to keep our way of life intact and while we keep a watchful eye over all life within the Arks, should our help be needed we will stand together and rid the system of corruption.

    Living humbly in the mountains, the simple people of Athens live in fear. For soaring above them, fearsome beasts lurk, picking off travelers with their barbed tail and forcing the people of Athens to live in caves. When the people of Eltar discovered this Ark, they sought to eradicate the threat and free the people of Athens. Bringing the fearsome beasts head and mounting it to the main city wall, they killed most of the Manticores that threatened Athens. Seeing the Eltonians as their god, descending from the heavens to save them, the people of Athens built shrines in their honour. To show thanks to those who kill the creature and as a warning to any which still remain.

During the development of the Arks many versions were created for experimental and testing purposes before the final version was brought into orbit. You find yourself waking up on one of these Arks without any knowledge of who you are and where you are. Are you brave enough to find out and discover what secrets are hidden on this mysterious Ark?

With this server I seek to create an immersive, fun and challenging environment for players. Spend less time grinding, more time on rewarding playtime. I tried to create a unique experience that pulls away from the typical boosted servers with grossly overpowered tames or extremely high harvesting rates. On one hand I have tried to tune and tweak server settings while on the other hand add a unique combination of mods to the server.

The server is PvE with tribal wars enabled. Tribes are limited to 10 members, alliances to 3 tribes. If the server grows I will upgrade the number of players to accommodate. While this Arks' story is suited for role playing, I decided against creating a role playing server and made it PvE instead. I want to make it clear though, role playing is more than welcome!

Arks' environment can be very unforgiving and plenty of bugs will add insult to injury. Therefore, I decided to provide the means to recover your inventory after death. Its not fun to loose precious things because your body glitched through a rock. Make sure you create a tombstone near a bed at your settlement. As long as your body is out there, creating a tombstone will allow you to recover your inventory. Tribes may build a cemetary with tombstones for each tribemember, for example.

A lot has changed on this server so it doesn't make much sense to throw multipliers at you. Basically, level cap has been increased to 150, while the total XP required has been reduced to about 1/6th of Vanilla. So I guess you could say the leveling multiplier is x6. However, the leveling curve has been flattened somewhat as well, meaning you won't gain as quickly as on vanilla x6 at the start, but it will be faster on higher levels. Overall, it will create a smoother and less grindy leveling experience.

Besides the few extra levels, some stats have been slightly boosted. Only minor, between .1 and .5 increase. You will gain 35 more levels which you can spend on attributes. This is to offset the higher level creatures and increased damage they do.

Engrams unlock automatically without screen spam or causing lag.

Creature levels are generally a maximum of 210, some can be higher. They are also a little stronger than usual. New creatures have been added.

Taming is no longer done by knocking them out, but by either (hand) feeding them or by challenging them with a trophy and besting them in battle. An ingame journal provides details.

Some creatures drop quality hide which you can use to craft the equivalent quality tools. Better tools and weapons give a bonus to harvesting or damage. Flyers can be speed leveled.

Harvesting is boosted to take the edge of off the endless grind for resources and allow you build and craft to your hearts' desire!

Last but not least: as this Ark was an experimental version it is unable to support certain technology. First and foremost, there is no element to be gotten anywhere on this Ark, meaning there is no TEK. Other things not supported by this early Ark are teleporters, creature pickup tools (cryopods, dino inventory, etc).

Settings might require finetuning during gameplay. Suggestions and feedback will be always be considered (but never promised) as long as they follow the general intent (ie, the spirit) of the gameplay and story background.
