Necron MES Encounters | 40k Manufactorum

Description
The ever curious and ever greedy Space Enginseers, empowered by their newly salvaged proto-technology, cracked and drilled into ancient planets and forgotten moons. They delved more greedily and deeply then ever, and disturbed something... Something buried for eons, older than some stars began to stir. An empire of sleeping machines, now unleashed on the galaxy.

This mod adds the Immortal Empire of the Necron Dynasty, a robotic alien threat from the Warhammer 40k setting. These undying machines fly massive tough ships bent on eradication of all life from a galaxy they see as rightly theirs, and that includes the Space Engineers it finds here! Your vanilla weapons will be outmatched without overwhelming teamwork and/or firepower.

Important Info
- This encounter mod is meant to be VERY DIFFICULT and is balanced with modded weapons and defenses in mind.
- This mod uses the Necron Weapons mod to function, which uses Weaponcore. Sorry there is no other way to make the cool beam or lighting weapons without it.
- This mod can use Ai Enabled using the Necron Bot Mod, but I did not require it as a dependency, in case you don't wish to include the robot factory stuff in your world/server as well. Without it, YOU WILL NOT encounter Necron Warriors or Flayed Ones.
- This mod uses AQD armor expansion for the builds to achieve some shapes and corners.

Content
This mod includes both Space and Planetary encounters. They will spawn based on MES Threat Level; the more blocks/power/weapons you have with you, the bigger spawns you will get.
There are currently two boss encounters, which are the only two ships equipped with C'tan Shards in a Tesseract Vault. These are randomized between 4 variants, and are all incredibly unfair weapons... So be warned: they have Star-Gods in pokeballs, and WILL use them on you.

Planetary Encounters

Lokhust Destroyer
Lokhust Destroyers are Necrons fused to floating chassis which serve as heavy weapons platforms.
In this mod they are the smallest grid based encounter, and serve as scouts when not hunting for organics in packs.

Annihilation Barge
Using its devastating Tesla lightning weapons, an Annihilation Barge can eradicate entire formations of enemy infantry in mere moments; its bolts of electricity incinerating target after target.

Ghost Ark
Ghost Arks often serve as conventional transport vehicles, conveying Necron reinforcements around the battlefield. The Warriors it deploys are essentially accompanied by their own mobile repair station. Destroying the Ghost Ark is the foes only hope of stopping the Warriors it carries.
If the Necron Bot Mod is installed, this will spawn Warriors nonstop until destroyed.
This build is a modified version of this Ghost Ark Build made by Maciek

Doomsday Ark
The Doomsday Ark shares a basic appearance with the Necron Ghost Ark, but whereas the latter's primary purpose is to transport and effect repairs for the Necron soldiery, the Doomsday Ark is no more than a mobile carriage for a Doomsday Cannon, perhaps the most powerful weapon in the Necrons' formidable arsenal.
This build is a modified version of this Doomsday Ark Build made by Maciek

Monolith
A Monolith is a massive mobile fortress used by the Necrons as their primary planetary assault craft. Its ponderous form can float across a battlefield upon its anti-gravitic engines, whilst its particle whip crystal devastates its enemies.
If the Necron Bot Mod is installed, this will continuously spawn Warriors and Flayed Ones.
This build is a modified version of this Monolith Build made by maweggywoo

Night Scythe Interceptor
Night Scythes serve the Necron forces in the interceptor and air superiority roles. It operates within a planet's atmosphere as well as in the void, despite the lack of a cockpit to protect the pilot; such niceties as oxygen and pressure are of little consequence for the undying form of the Necrons.

Doom Scythe Fighter
A Doom Scythe is a Necron aircraft and voidcraft that serves in the fighter-bomber role, mounting a Death Ray which fires an irresistible beam of blinding white light that cuts through armored tanks and ship hulls alike.

Space Encounters

Dirge-class Raider
A Dirge-class Raider is a Necron starship that is the smaller of the two escort-sized Necron warships so far encountered. They primarily function as scouts, and can sometimes be seen in high orbit over planets, looking for potential inhabitants to mark for the Harvest.

Jackel-class Raider
The Jackal is the larger of the two types of small Necron escort vessels so far encountered. Necron fleets have always included numbers of these smaller ships. They are slightly better armed then the Dirge, and function more in an actual escort role for larger ships.

Cartouche-class Light Cruiser
The Cartouche-class Light Cruiser is a typical ship spotted in the vanguard of the Necron fleet, being the smallest spacecraft observed to be equipped with Particle Whips as a primary armament. These ship would make the opening volleys in a larger fleet engagement before anything more substantial is committed.

Khopesh-class Light Cruiser
Khopesh-class vessels excel at the task of fleet reconnaissance and are often deployed as the advance scouts for a full Necron assault fleet, as they are especially stealthy vessels. A Khopesh Cruiser's hull shape is a further refinement of normal Necron designs, making it very hard to detect using typical sensor technology.

Scythe-class Harvest Cruiser
Harvest Ships have proved to be incredibly resilient and difficult warships to destroy. The vessels are so named because they have been present when the Necrons "harvest" the population of various inhabited worlds.

Boss Encounters

Scourge-class Grand Cruiser
The Scourge-class Grand Cruiser is a massive warship and a dedicated carrier vessel, with large launch bays for Attack Craft. Besides this, it is equipped with absurd batteries of Lightning Arcs. Mounted at the front of the vessel is a Tesseract Vault, to unleash the terrible power of their shackled gods on their foe.

Cairn-class Tomb Ship
Gigantic vessels that leave naught but destruction and carnage in their wake, Tomb Ships are heavily-armed with numerous Particle Whips as well as smaller Lightning Arcs and Gauss Weapon defense turrets. Mounted at the front of the vessel is a Tesseract Vault, to unleash the terrible power of their shackled gods on their foe.

Absurdly over tuned necron ships. Tried 3 different shield mods, necron weapons bypass them all or one shot them. Their energy whips are simply stupid, one swipe just deletes dozens of heavy armor blocks. And their armor is equally dumb, a head on shot with the biggest Aryx fuckoff super cannon the Kinglance at 9x5x60 barely punched through the first layer of the Cairn armor. Some of the smaller ships are good challenge but the GC and BS are awful. Not my thing when you add a dozen zeros to block config numbers for challenge.

The reason this guys shields get 1shot by this mod is because of how the old shield mods work. A lot of the Necron weapons are AoE and the ancient shield mod he's using calculates the damage absorbed per block hit, not as a singular damage value. When an AoE shot from a necron hits, it's hitting multiple blocks therefore doing damage to the shield multiplied by how many different blocks were hit. This results in the shields getting taken down in 1 shot.

the tomb ship spawning in froze both mine and my friends games

Another problem is when a long battle starts dropping fps to 9. And even after clearing the world, 9-11 fps remains. It is necessary to restart the game after the battle.

I figured it out, the problem is not the weapon. I used the mod for energy shields, they are weaker than the mod Defense Shields. The NPCs knocked out the shield very quickly, it seemed like the shield wasn't working. :D

PLEASE find for me exactly what weapons against what kinds of shields in a reproducible way. I just now went through every weapon after seeing your comment to check, and every weapon has a ShieldBypassModifier=0.

Weapons ignore shields. It's very sad, the mod is beautiful.

Spawning should finally be fixed!
Shout out to @Hoofie who spotted the error I've been struggling to solve the whole last month.
