Description
...are you ready for a new challenge?
Explore and master four distinct archetypes that are balanced to the difficulty of the base game! Play a fully sprited character with animations, brand new card artworks (no AI involved!), a comic for beating the heart as well as custom spell and sound effects!

New Character - The Unchained!
  • 75 draftable cards (76 total)
  • 10 relics
  • 4 potions
...now with an optional unlockable booster pack and skin for beating the Heart!

Unique Character Mechanics
Chain: Chain together cards of the same type for powerful effects!
Momentum: Gather momentum and twirl through enemies with swirls that ramp up in intensity!
Crushed Armor: Crush your enemies with the weight of their own armor!
Relay: Absorb large quantities of delayed damage to turn back onto your opponents!

Lore
We wrote a short story about the backstory of our character before he comes to the spire, and you can read it here! [docs.google.com] We also sprinkled some of that story into the card artworks so we hope you check those out more closely!

Feels a little less powerful then watcher, very east char; a lil better then the rest of base cast

PRETTY GOOD. Some complaints is that chain saw shouldn't have a base, unupgraded, 1 cost; 15 damage. And that Law Of Inertia is a little too good with a lot of chain cards also uh.... Please just...... Tone down some of these numbers (specially one 1 cost cards... riposte.) also it would be funny if Law Of Inertia could put you in negative numbers, to make it more of a fragile type of thing, but its upgrade shouldn't increase the loss.

@it'sMIJA! Sorry that you're having trouble. Im not sure what the thing you are referring to could be, do you have any other mods enabled? Because we cannot guarantee that the game is bugless if you do. If you can recreate the problem it would be perfect if you would join our discord server and send a detailed description of the crash and then I can fix it. I hope you're having fun besides that crash!

there is something that deals 50 damage when you get 10 stacks, cant recall name, just know that it crashes the game whenever it happens.

@DingoEatingBaby happy that you're enjoying the character! That is not a bug, the starter relic only works once a fight, there is an upgrade for it that works as you describe it though. But how it works at your end is as intended.

I was enjoying the class, powering through act 1 with a lot of lucky draws and relics, really liking the relay mechanic in particular... then i realized the relic wasn't working as i understood it.

It seems to say every 6th card draws 1 card, and the next card is free. *The* 6th card does indeed draw 1 card, and the next card i play is free. But as the counter ticks up to 12l, 18, 24... Nothing happens =/

Could be a bug on my end, but i only have Downfall, Aspiration, and a few QoL/interface mods enabled. I might give it another at some point without other mods, but i figured it was worth reporting.

This is one of the best mods for this game hands down. Great art and super fun cards. Momentum in particular is a super fun mechanic
