Were the randomization and vanilla options removed as a temporary bug fix? I see it is listed in the change log, but I'd prefer not to manually update every soldier when I upgrade an armour tier

@Admiralthrawnbar ok my bad.
However, even if there was no incompatibilities I'm not sure using UC with Armor of the Imperium would be a good idea anyway, since if I undestand correctly this mod uses armor to emulate space marine classes.
So you probably want to keep the appearance corresponding to their equipped armor.

"no, that has nothing to do with it to be honest. Thats all tied to the community highlander and code created in the highlander that we hooked into this mod to allow for those customization options. The issue with UC s the way its coded and set up, the longer you use it and add more stuff that it uses to mix and match looks... you eventually create a massive mess in the that it (UC) changes the pathing of Armor code (not cosmetics), and kills those armors cosmetic options. The Armors Archetype breaks and you end up with an invisible torso and can no longer equip any other options to that soldier, making that soldier unuseable. "

Directly from the armors of the imperium mod author "ye what @Paddy11B said. We tested this A LOT and as he has pointed out, Unrestricted does indeed mess with the scripting code of the armours. UC is a great mod but its not 100% reliable to work with all mods, sorry guys."
Admiralthrawnbar Nov 15 @ 2:30pm
According to the description of the mod, he says they are incompatible, I'll let him know

@Admiralthrawnbar @Deadput
AFAIK there no incompatibilities (just tested).
This mod unrestricts customization options, which may not be what you want, but it's hardly an incompatibilty.
Deadput Nov 14 @ 2:08pm
Based on what I've heard the problem is very complicated when it comes to UC being compatible with the 40K armor mod.
Admiralthrawnbar Nov 14 @ 1:29pm
Do you intend to make this compatible with armors of the imperium? According to the guy who did that, the problem is on your end.

lol

You got a problem with guys who have ponytails?
