@THE_Emperror in the base game there are only 9 tiles available, so all 9 available tiles are unlocked at the start. With a 25 tile mod, all 25 unlockable tiles are unlocked at the start. Tiles beyond 25 tiles are not considered unlockable at all in the base game, so they are not included in this mod. That would require modifying the underlying tile system and that is already supported by the 81 tiles mod.

Let me get this straight, the mod is named ALL TILE START but it only unlocks 9 tiles on it's own?

Hi all, just downloaded the latest dlcs and wanted to check in. This mod still works perfectly for me. It may be incompatible with other mods, but hopefully those are ones you shouldn't need with this one anyway (81 tiles). If you manage the incompatibility lists, feel free to reach out to me with more information regarding this mod's inclusion in those lists and whether those incompatibilities have been verified.

I don't always follow Steam comments since I only play this game once a year. The best way to report issues is here: https://github.com/johnrom/cities-skylines-all-tile-start . As a web developer, I check Github issues many times daily M-F.

Some notes:

- Not compatible with 81 tiles.
- I never had an issue of this mod crashing the game (except w/ 81 tiles).
- I never had an issue with this mod unlocking all milestones (except temporarily before game starts).
- I stand by the name All Tile Start as it is catchy and took me over an hour to come up with it! ;)

81 tiles 2 is not up to date as it sends an error report

This mod still works as described as of 1.16 (Financial Districts).

When you start the game, it will say “Congratulations!!!” as though you unlocked a milestone, but no milestones are actually unlocked and you can just ignore this.

81 Tiles 2 is a replacement for this mod in the same way that an SUV is a replacement for a bicycle.

Use 81 tiles 2 instead!

"All Tiles" is ambiguous: "All (default) Tiles (= 9)" or "All (possible) Tiles (81)

Did they get rid of the unlock 81 tiles mod? i don;t see it anywhere on the store.

The mod basically gives you all the milestones even if he says it doesn't...

Just doing my annual check-in and updates. Still using this mod whenever I play Cities: Skylines without issue. Several people still say that this mod is crashing Cities: Skylines, which is worrying! I have updated the Description to include debugging information to help understand the root of any issues.

As to whether this mod is abandoned, I usually play the game about twice a year, so I check on this mod around that time. Some applications are created which simply do what they need to do and don't need to be updated. Automated systems generally put "hasn't been updated in years" under the "abandoned" flag. Maybe I'll refactor the code and update this mod with no functional changes just for fun. That said, I may miss any reports on here until the next time I play (maybe the Airports update!), so if you find a reproducible issue and it seems I have gone quiet, feel free to post it at: https://github.com/johnrom/cities-skylines-all-tile-start .

I still use this mod to this day whenever I play CS (not often), and have never found a problem with it not working, it automatically unlocking milestones, etc. This mod is different than 81 tiles mod as it only uses whatever number of tiles you have available. It is NOT compatible with 81 tiles mod. That mod has this functionality built in as a hotkey! The developer of that mod gave me some pointers when writing this one. In fact, I'll recommend you use it if you like 81 tiles. I, however, like having some landscape around my town, so I keep 25 tiles. I want to give a shout out to the fact I had no idea this many users would ever use this one day personal project for my own enjoyment, so I'm glad to have been able to make the Cities: Skylines experience even better for some folks around the community!

I don't see a difference between this and the Unlock Everything Mod that came with the game. The mod description states "This mod unlocks the tiles without affecting money or milestones," but that is not true.

So, is not working with the new DLC Sunset Harbor, I supposed.

Works for me, but also unlocks all buildings. Also with some maps no cars spawn, which causes no citizens to move in.

This mod has been working fine for me for years, I have not had any conflicts with it. I is nice when you want to sprawl early without having to cram a bunch of population into a small space just to get more land unlocked.

@BlackStork : I advice you to use: 81 Tiles (Fixed for 1.2+) by BloodyPenguin.
This one is working nicely and simple to use it.
Just download it and open your game. Then, go on your settings and be sure is on, then click on 81 tile. go back to your game and wait. All tiles are going to be free and open. :)

I can't get this to play nice with the default mod that unlocks everything -- is there something I have to do to get these working together, or another mod that does this and is compatible?
