Guys, this mod was last updated in 2016. It's discontinued by now and not working.

January 24th, 2021. Tried to fire up the radar mod, but no dice. The block draws power and radiates, making for a 50km beacon, but no "scans" or "LCD display output" that I can discern. Shame.

Could some one please explain to me how to get the GPS to come up on an LCD.
I been trying for hours but not sure where I should put the command lines in that has been talked about in description. Dose it go in custom data or the name block and must is go in the LCD or the Radar.

Say my radar name is "MyRadar" and the LCD is call "Screen" what do i do?

How do I set it to not ping Tiny Ships cause (NoTiny Ship) (NoTinyShip) (NoTiny Ships) and (NoTinyShips) Doesn't work whats the name I need to filter Tiny Ships because of those tiny pobs with the chance at a item keeps showing up and their remains are being picked up by the radar.

can you make a more powerful version that maybe is balanced by requiring ♥♥♥♥ ton of power, because i need to find my little miner that i lost adrift in space chasing a loot thing and it's small enough that you will see it befor ethe radar detects it probably

So I've started using this mod for my survival world using the same setup that XpGamers has in his Livestream but I can't get the radar to ping ships or objects to my hud. Any tips?

It should be visible to others at double the detection range if you want it to function like a radar.

:) It would be more interesting if instead of size, signature was determined by the ammount of power being generated (reactors) Power used (by anything) and Thrust generated (thrusters).

THUS a ship with reactors off, general equipment powered down, and not generating thrust would be difficult to detect, even at close range.

The actual size of the target could not be entirely discounted, but it would create obvious techniques to avoid detection. Like drifting powered down, thorugh a warzone.

BUT a ship generating lots of power during planetary launch would be detectable a LONG way off. So would an industrial ship running its refineries.

Makes things more interesting...

It look like using the dev branch mod solve the problème without breaking anythings...
I have installed it on my server (Globot World)
