Would you be willing to add a patch for VFE - Tribals regarding their traps/buildings? They require lumber when they're just a slightly different variant while the vanilla ones require logs. Like the large fire, animal trap, and throwspikes for example. It isn't gamebreaking but would be cool to have updated to just make it like a quality of life.

I will take a look at Biomes Caverns when I get a chance, maybe there's something I can do there.

I found the issue, just incase anyone has this problem as well. This mod is NOT compatable with biomes caverns. something overwrites defs making it so you can only use normal wood for torches, not any modded wood.

yeh the adaptive framework MO storage mod that adapts MO's storage to the adaptive storage Framework does something funky, I know its not the MO mod so you have no reason to write a patch for it, I tried doing it myself but only managed to get 2 of the 3 working, none the less thank you for helping me with the MO patching n_n.

all though half of it is correct the mixed lumber pile is using the correct wood from Wood expanded by the looks it the log piles are still using raw wood for the storage piles.

I think you might have missed the log storages for MO unless the adaptive storage framework patch for MO is overwriting it im not sure which it is, Just thought id ask incase you may have forgotten n_n

I fixed a bunch of the MO compatibility but I still need to patch all logs in for the log furniture.

Though just the ones that work with logs themselves the other stuff works just fine that uses the timber part of the log.

Any luck on the MO patch? For the structures Zal? The trees drop the right wood but the structures don’t take the right logs XD.

Thank you so much for your quick reply! yeh I was scratching my head as to why I could not build some of the buildings with logs and they were only taking Raw Logs, was like ,,,,, these ones take the proper wood but then these ones are asking for raw wood but raw wood is the wood the drops is it not? and then later I figured out after using resource dic that raw wood was from MO not WE so I came to the conclusion the patch was a bit out of date as some of them were using the new wood system and some werent XD.

But I found how to fix it if you don't like it! Make a local copy of this mod so you can edit it. Navigate to:
‪C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods\__LocalCopy_Expanded Woodworking (Continued)_-3-1\1.5\Defs\RecipeDefs\Recipe_Woodworking.xml
You'll see definitions for all the woodworking recipes and all the ways they behave. Find the 2 lines in the XML that say:
<soundWorking>Recipe_MakeWoodPlanks_Electric</soundWorking>
and just remove that, no more sound! Or you could put another sound in its place, if you want.

@Zaljerem: I would love some sort of toggle in settings, maybe? This has been complained about since the 1.2 version comments!

This mod is absolutely a must-have in my load order, I cannot live without it. 10/10

Question: I would love support for Lightless Empyrean (Currently it just gives normal wood if you cut down one of the trees in that mod). Would a kindly soul be able to explain 'how' I could add a patch for that mod?

It seems that when used with Biomes Prehistoric and Cherry Picker 1.5 it causes Cherry Picker to have almost know mods selectable in its menus. I tested this with just those mods to be sure.

Hiya, just to let you know - the VFE Architect (2) patch that removes their log walls breaks Layered Wall Destruction's patch. Either they could check for EW_LogWall in their patch or you could remove the destructive patch, not sure what is better. I have informed the other author as well. Thanks!

@Yutoe don't hassle the mod author for an issue that is clearly specific to your game. It's a mod conflict or corruption. Take responsibility of your install and go through the steps to fix it.

Well, there's only so many hours in a day, and I have a job and family. Someone else noted they had the same issue because of another mod. Other than that I'm not getting any other reports .... so what exactly do you expect me to do?

I don't think the VGP patch is working. Can't use ironwood to make lumber and ironwood is still used in its raw form for crafting and construction.

I had the same issue. It was a compatibility issue with the not a weapon mod that made the mixed lumber disappear.

Not sure if its a "[T] More Floors" and "WD Expanded Floors" problem but they both have stopped being able to use other types of lumber as I can only place them using the default "mixed lumber" for them

It looks correct, I'll verify it soon. Keep making them, I'll use them! I've thought about a universal patch but it's complicated and could introduce lots of issues if not done correctly, and maybe even then.

Personally, I'd love the option of when using it alongside VFE - Architect, to use the VFE Log wall instead (and add the stuffable colors to it); The art is much better than the one from this mod, with all due respect to its original author
