the provided 1.5 update by @幻想鄉の鵬鵬 is turning deprecated as it has many too few errors such as UI turning invisible. Would love to see an update of this one.

Greeting.I have done a quick 1.5 update for this mod and I would like to upload it.I come here to politely notify you. Since this is first time I do something like this I want to know if there is anything I should take care of?(beside a proper credit for the author!)

This mod throws a bunch of errors when you try to install any mods that patch and rework how romance works, it's almost like it thinks the sentient animals are making or receiving romance attempts

I have some various issues with the Housekeeper Cat + Felyne retexture

- The equip texture become purple glitch box when draft/undraft when have equip on. If zone out with camera+ they become the unequip texture.
- Using Yuran weapons (Yuran race mod) cause the entire Yuran on the map to stuck in 1 place (haven't tried with other weapon but may have the same issue, since i never seen them using it)
- When draft/undraft sometime cause Every animal with sentient in the map appear in the pawn panel

I have two cows which are sentient. But they get stuck indoors because they can't open doors sinds the game says they belong in a pen.
When forming a caravan my Colonist can't rope them because they want to go to the gathering spot by themselves so I have to deconstruct the doors for them to go through.
I'll see if I can fix it with the locks mod but yeah. Issues..

I second Narmen's question. It's frustrating having 'pen' animals not be able to open doors and just getting stuck in random places. Also makes caravans frustrating.

i want the sentient animals in one area like regular animals so they can breed and so i can keep track of them n make sure they dont get attack. how do i do that? they dont have any are options for me to control that.

Found a incompatibility with Speak-Up mod.

All of the sentient animals "chitchat" will always be "Hey (colonist name)". The "deeptalk" works fine.

Wild sentient animals are hunting my prioritized hunts, I'm not sure if this is like a mod conflict or a bug but its ruining my immersion and causing weird drama.

Same issue as cashew, it seems to only affect animals that naturally don't have any trainability, tho.

Are the sentient animals meant to not be able to open doors? It makes them kinda difficult to use when they cant get around my base.

would it be possible to get an exclusion from being butchered? as they are fully trained, they never form bonds with a master, so can end up accidentally getting butchered.

This mod seems to act a little odd with the animals from the android tiers mod.

Any that are built that have sentience cannot use there internal battery but other wise work fine.

Would it be possible to allow sentient animals to be able to leave pen gates? that or allow them to be included in pen filters, so they can leave the pen.

While on the topic of bugs, I have another small one:
Sometimes a tamed animal just becomes sentient. Don't know when, how or why. Example: i caravaned out today with dromedary, 2 sentient and 4 not, and while checking on them after returning home i now have 3 sentient ones. I can ensure that I did not tame any new ones. Don't know if it will happen to animals with their sentience % set to zero, as I don't have any tamed currently.

@Mlie, if you need logs, modlists etc. please say so. I don't know if you notice my paltry bug report in the first place so I did not want to throw logs around needlessly.

On the not leading/roping thing, does anybody else still have issues? In my case, sentient pen animals won't use doors etc. (save for flaps etc.) Saying "no path".
As sentient pen animals can not be lead/roped, my animals can not leave an area if it has a door.

Which, among other annoyances, (animals being stuck in inconvenient rooms or with no food etc.) leads to caravans getting stuck, as others have reported.
Zoneable animals are fine, as they can path trough doors anyways.

Yeah, it is pretty cool, but since they only hunt things I have targeted to hunt and leave the corpses alone, it kinda screws w/ the difficulty. Still, great mod!

With this and Hunt for me, wild sentient animals will hunt and form hunting packs (not like animals normally hunt, a hedgehog led a pack of guinea pigs to hunt down another guinea pig). Not a huge issue, but worth noting
