Which I am assuming is due to a changed xpath

@Thundercrwaft Good mod suggestions, but they seem only to affect a limited amount of stats or HP. I am looking for a mod that affects the tool offset stat.

There are a few mods that are kind of similar.

Everything Has Quality - Makes it so almost everything has quality (including some buildings like turrets and even food). It also makes the quality of materials affect the quality of items. And it adds "inspirations" for a temporary buff to colonists after crafting something of high quality.

Quality Expanded - Quality affects max hit points. Buildings & items can permanently deteriorate in quality if their current hit points falls below the max hit points for the next-lowest quality. Buildings & armor check for quality loss when damaged. Other items check for quality loss once per day. Buildings & items with art have a lower chance to deteriorate and only if HP drops to certain level.

Quality And Durability - Quality affects max hit points for weapons and armor. (Note: Reported as incompatible with "Infusion 2" mod.)

No Random Construction Quality - Overrides the random quality rolls when you build furniture/items and instead uses a static function to determine what quality the resulting item is.

QualityBuilder - All buildings that have quality (beds, tables etc) will only be build by the best builder.

BTW: There's also "Quality Colors" that colors items based on quality and "Quality Of Building" to change the texture of furniture and items to reflect the quality level.

Afternoon, any update on when this might likely be updated to 1.4 or at the very least attend to the DLC errors? Don't need to know when it'll be done just if it's still panned to be updated eventually :)

Hello everyone, Sorry for not actively replying. I have had busy days recently. As for now it should still be functioning for 1.4. But I haven't had a chance to fully test. I would appreciate any feedback.

And as @LifelikeRaptor9 pointed out, without DLCs this mode will still work. It should be totally fine if you ignore some xml error when launching the game.

I am planning to at least fully test the 1.4 and remove the DLC dependency by the middle of Nov. But I cant give a hard guarantee as for now.

This still works without either of the DLC; the multipliers are applied on all the vanilla stats/buffs. You'll get red lines when loading, but it's for any of the buffs and stats that correspond to mechanics of the respective DLC that are missing.

ie. I don't have Ideology. So red line errors showed up for conversion rate & slave suppression buffs added by Ideology.

If you don't want to have the red errors show then you would have to go into the xml and delete/comment-out the lines for the effected stats/buffs.
Otherwise, those red errors could be ignored (afaik).

Also if possible can you enable quality affecting the range of weapons? Masterwork charge rifles really ought to not be outranged by literally everything short of a shotgun.

Second what Pyrogonist said, please make the patches check for the presence of the DLCs rather than requiring them. This mod works fine without them, just spits a ton of errors.

Sorry.... been a busy few days. I went back into my game and it appears that, at least from what I was seeing, the bionics that were getting qualitied were the ones with efficiency stats. I am looking for one with an efficiency stat as well other stats and struggling for some reason.

@adalast Hi and thanks for your suggestion. It is until now that I notice the nice mod called Quality Bionics. From what I have learnt, it seems that mod already have a setup about properties of bionics. Can you give me some examples of what additional stats or properties you want to get influenced by quality? I will look into it. Though I am on my busy season now and it may take some time.

So I have this and Quality Bionics, and it seems the two don't care about each other. I was really hoping that I could use the two in conjunction to get the quality form Quality Bionics to affect the other aspects of the bionics besides just efficiency. Unfortunately this mod seems to only affect things that already got quality, such as furniture and equipment. How would I go about making it affect the bionics with qualities as well?

@LS_Naix 可以分享一下你的mod列表吗 无论从原理上来说还是从我这边实际测试的结果来说负值的偏移量都是不会被品质影响的(虽然界面上会显示品质乘数但是基础值和最终值会永远保持相同)

@936661511 护甲原版游戏就受品质影响因而不受这个mod影响 这里修改的提升绝大部分目前都设定为 极差:40% 较差:75% 普通:100% 良好:115% 极佳:125% 大师:130% 传奇:135% 极少部分数值越低越好的属性例如饥饿度乘数偏移量设定为 极差:135% 较差:110% 普通:100% 良好:90% 极佳:85% 大师:80% 传奇:75%
之后如果有更好的平衡性建议的话可能会对上面的数值进行修改

@PremierVader Yes, This mod can be safely added or removed for existing game. The effect can still be updated. This mod currently does not patch the basic stats of guns including cooldown time for compatibility concerns (majorly CE). So you are free to use both mod at the same time.

@Evam The effect is based on the type of stat other than the type of equipment. currently, with this mod, most positive stats offset are quality related. I will post the full list in the discussion. As long as your equipment has effect on these stats. It will have a quality influence on that effect.
