@Thundercraft , its a very simple xml mod so it should be compatible with 1.5

Colonists won't drink it, they don't lose "Demand Alcohol" Debuff when they drink it (Partier Meme from Vanilla Expanded). IDK if you are still working on this mod, but I thought I'd give you some feedback. Great idea for a mod. Mushroom Wine would be a good alternative name if you ever expand on the mod. <3

@Thundercraft, I tried but it requires C# knowledge as far as I can tell and I'm unsure how to actually use c# to do that. I'll try some day but not anytime soon as this mod was just me figuring out how XML works

I noticed that you mentioned Ideology and how this mod was made due to how fungus is now growable. Well...

With the Ideology DLC, having an ideoligion with the Tunneler meme means that colonists actually prefer to eat fungus (instead of other ideoligions where colonists despise eating it). Moreover, Tunnelers prefer to live underground and mine...

So, I'm wondering: Shouldn't drinking this fungus-based brew also give a mood buff to those with an ideoligion with the Tunneler meme? I mean, it's not only made from fungus, but it makes them better at mining.

OP, I have found a bug in your Mod. The Drank Fungus Based Alcohol Hediff NEVER EXPIRES . That's a pretty big oversight, considering it's meant to last several days and gives HUGE boosts to Mining.

Alright @cultivahabas it should be CE compatible now.

@TurtleShroom, I'll probably get round to it but I'd need to figure out how to make all the different fungi as a category so the recipe accepts any combination of them.

The latter one already has Mushroom Wine, but Fungi-hol is mushroom-based beer .

@cultivahabas Damn is it not I'll try make a quick CE patch they aren't too hard, I'll just copy the beer bottle's CE patch.

@TurtleShroom The first mod seems to already have lots of fungus based drinks, the one fungus that doesn't wouldn't be an issue but I'm not good enough with the xml to make it accept either or as an ingredient, it wants 100 of both. So until i figure that out I can't sorry. Also I couldn't find the second mod you were talking about.

@NRFBToyStore there is actually a bunch of them, i believe both pawnbolg as well as a cuter variant is up to date for kobolds, if it was updated, i would highly recommend the "Ratkin" race, they would honestly be perfect for a mushroom-loving miner colony.

On another note, i shall grab this, love the idea, and my already rampant mushroom farm can now serve a second purpose.

Hey, I love this idea! I'm actually starting a MUSHROOM Farm next year, so I appreciate this. I'm about to start a new play through and going to make this the primary party drink! ... Maybe blind mining colony? Hmmmm ,what race thou!? ... Maybe dwarves...or, ummm, i'll see if someone has a goblin or kobold mod for 1.3! HAHA! #BigThanks
